i just came across this and am looking at picking one up. I just want a single mod I know I won't have to worry about, ever. I want one to last me until im laid to rest.
I was just saying if this is what you want, Super-T....can and will provide. I have the P-18 and the P-10, very well machined. I'm not trying to steer you in any direction as I don't have any knowledge of the Curve. I just know these will take me to my grave
after i get the curve i may go with the super T, trying to get a few niceee mechanical mods to use with the RBAs i just ordered. I figure when my Provaris need some rest. plus i like the peace of mind the all mechanical device gives me. i will post a review/pics when it arrives.
^it does, but IMO you're paying for the stone/shell inlay on the button, the gold plating and possibly the titanium. I think the price of the Curve at (on sale and i hope it stays there), of $115 is AMAZING. it looks like a damn solid device.
I see what you are saying...those the things I liked about the Titanide though.
they're nice but for the same functionality i'd rather spend half the price. i mean the shell is nice but that piece of shell isn't worth more than $10-20 (i sell gemstones and know), the gold plating since it's 24kt is VERY soft (more gold=softer), and in your hands (where you produce a lot of sweat), that gold will eventually wear off and look just like the curve. to each his own though, I just know what I wanted, and man this thing fit the bill perfectly.
