The dangers of Propylene Glycol?

I seem to remember reading a post on the forums a few months ago, in which it was stated that PG heated beyond a certain temperature turns to some other (potentially dangerous) compound... but now I can't seem to find that thread. Does anyone know anything about this? Something about... acetyl... or acetone? (not sure)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search for acrolein. It can be produced by heating glycerin to a very high temperature. We had it tested to 300 degrees C with no evidence of it being present.
