Hi again,

I was checking out a few bottles of e juice I bought earlier today and opened them up to mix in a separate bottle. I noticed that the two tobacco flavors are thinner and pour easier than the chocolate bar flavor. I also noticed the chocolate bar flavor has more vapor when vaping than the tobacco flavor. I read about different flavoring having VG or PG as well.
Do you think the difference is because of the type of flavoring or because of different VG/PG mixes??
I just wondered if someone who's vaped a lot of different type of juices has noticed anything like this when creating their own juices.

Thanks in advance and Happy vaping!! :) Jim

Probably has nothing to do with the flavor or flavoring agents in the e-liquid. It has everything to do with the Pg/Vg ratio.

Pg (propylene glycol) is known as the "flavor carrier" component, to a lesser degree gives some throat hit, and is thinner in consistancy.

Vg (vegetable glycerine) is known as the "vapor maker" component, and is a thicker e-liquid.

The majority of eliquids are found with a 70 Pg/30 Vg -- 30 Pg/70 Vg ratio, with the most of those being a 50/50 mix. Some vendors use a 100% Vg, as some people have a sensitivity or allergy to Pg.

Darker flavors and sweeter flavors may clog coils faster in tanks. Higher Vg ratio can also clog coils because of its thicker consistancy and is a natural sweetener itself.

Thanks for the info they were all from the same company maybe they just use a different mix of VG/PG in the chocolate bar flavor.

I mixed 50/50 between the thicker ( chocolate ) and the thinner ( tobacco's ) and now have a better tasting tobacco juice with more vapor and around 15-16 mg nicotine.

Oh yeah the chocolate bar flavor is very dark.

fun stuff! :toast:
