It's six of one, half dozen of the other. Each has its proponents and both are good units. Some users prefer the softer button on the Riva to the hard plastic button found on the eGo. The Riva boasts a 750 mah battery, while the standard eGo is rated at 650 mah. In use the difference is likely negligible. If a choice comes down to one or the other, I would recommend using cost and the reputation of the vendor as determining factors.

If you need Riva cones, Liberty-flights.com has Riva cones and the Riva 510 and Riva 901 cones fit either Riva. The 901 cones are shorter and they say they fit cartomizers.

Other than that you can use Ego parts, and any 510 std or lr parts. However xl or mega attys may only fit carts or drip tips made for the bigger size.
