My 510, it's on the way *twitch*, should be in the mailbox when I get home *eye spasm*. And then the cartos from Liquid Xpress, WHEN WILL THEY BE HERE?!?! (I ordered them like 48 HOURS ago!) *takes a deep pull off a Camel*

Wait, I know how to temporarily sate this vape monster! *Goes to Johnson Creek website, buys Red Oak sample pack, spare carts.* Ahhhh, that was good.....

The real test comes when I get home this evening and my girlfriend/drill sergeant insists I work out before I open my new toy! Someone slap me.

Got my liquidXpress cartomizers Saturday, got eGo in the mail today and it's waiting for me to get home and on wrap her.

I have the Honey Flu Cured tobacco & the Cool Rush cartos coming. I'd love to know what you think of the Taboo. The eGo is freaking classy. My hope is that my lady covets my 510, giving me an excuse to grab an eGo!

Keep in mind that I've only vaped ONCE! 8-o
...and really liked it.

I am just kidding about the Transporter idea, but I really wish I could get instant gratification.

Read, "I'm absolutely not kidding about the transporter idea."

Would be nice one day to walk into a store and buy everything you want and need.

I agree. I'm in Houston, and I have considered rolling around town, hitting some of the larger "alternative shops" to see if they carry products that A: Are e-cig related and B: Aren't junk. I just don't know if my effort would be in vain.

I noticed that there is an e-cig/liquid supplier in Katy, approx 30min. from me, but I don't know if they are set up to accept walk in shoppers. I could always call and ask.

My thoughts on taboo: when I took my first puff off the cartomizer I had a puzzled look. I have read the posts about the taboo in the cartomizers tasting like butter but wasn't sure if that's what got from it. It was such an overload of flavor it took my mind a while (15 puffs) to understand what my taste buds were encountering. I must say I really like it and I hear the bottles taste way better, so I'm excited to taste the bottle version now, since the my fist taste was the cartomizer version.

A friend of mine said she did not like it but she she's a cigarette smoker so I would expect that however she liked the cool rush. Typical

I'm going crazy right now because the USPS sent my package (with 2 Joye Sticks--1 for me and 1 for my son) to a town 30 miles from me so I didn't get it today :(. Hopefully they forwarded it to my post office and I'll get it tomorrow. It's driving me nuts that I don't have it even though I'm sitting here with 4 mods on my desk with a tasty variety of flavors loaded. And I'm already searching for my next mod since I ordered too many Tasty Vapor flavors and now have to actually pick one flavor to not have loaded at all times. I can't do that....they're all so good how do I pick one that I won't have easy access to at all times...it makes my brain hurt.... And now I'm compulsively tracking my Tasty Vapor order as well. I'd say I need an intervention if I weren't having so much fun :).

Stores are opening in lots of places, someone posted this map somewhere,
click on the location on the map:

But I don't understand why people like the models where they need to mess with atomizers and buying atomizers.

I would venture to say it is because those types of models (atomizers as opposed to cartomizers) don't lead to burning filler material and sucking down the resulting fumes.

They can't lead to that if you either put the next cartomizer on, as designed (Which only cost a couple bucks or less), or refill before you even ever get to that point, which means you have about 30+ drops or more before the carto is almost empty.

No worries about expensive atomizers, and now worries about vaping primer, and priming anything and carrying spare atomizers, etc.

Oh well, I guess the good thing is that there are plenty of models to suit different folks.

I know the feeling. My son has decided that he wants the Blu. No prob. I traded for the 510. I have batteries & attys on the way from Volcano in hopes there will be fewer issues (from what I've read here). I have a 510 kit coming from JAWS (here on the forum) so I will have backups of everything. I have yet another kit coming from Cignot, but I bought that for a friend who doesn't have a bank card. I threw a USB charger in with that order. I also just got confirmation that my Tasty Vapor juice is on the way and I am chomping at the bit- or should I say pass through- from wanting the Atomic Cinnacide and Bananas Foster NOW. Hopefully we will be loaded up on equipment a juice for a bit so my card can rest.

I wouldn't take my chances, and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else either.

Using the Highping dry burn method, my current atomizer seems like it may last forever.
I don't even bother carrying a spare.

Very true, but I gotta say that inhaling burnt filler material is bad.
And as I said, I would never recommend using cartomizers in their current design.

And yes, I have cartomizers, and I use them sometimes.
And I have taken a few apart and have never found any burnt filler.
But I know their limitations, and new users do not.

And I still expect one day I will open one up and find burnt filler.
And if I do, that will be the last time I ever use them.

I'm new. Because I am waiting on orders, and only have the choice of 18mg cartomizers or 26mg carts right now, I'm in a bind. I am using the cartos because I think 26mg is just too strong for me. What should I be aware of while I'm using the cartos? How will I know it's time to switch to a new one without burning filler? I don't want to inhale that junk any more than you!

Thanks for any and all advice!

I would suggest getting some 18mg juice and waiting awhile before using cartomizers.
But I use cartomizers so infrequently that I am not the best person to ask.

When I use them, though, I make sure to not run them anywhere near dry.
That takes experience, and a knowledge of how much juice you are using.

I also make sure to be extra careful if I ever use them at high voltage.
