Hey guys!

I love my 510 penstyle, I really do, but if the EU laws come through, I wanna be prepared without having to have a massive bit of kit. As the ecab is a similar size to what I'm already using, I'm thinking this might be the way forward. But...

does anyone have any experience of using them, positive or negative?
how long do the atomiser heads last? At £16.99 a packet of 5, that's quite expensive. If one only lasts a week, that's way too expensive and i'll just stock up on cartomisers!

Any help is appreciated...x

Hey guys!

I'm still toying with the idea of getting one of these but wonder of the success of cleaning out the atomisers? I've done a few searches and I'm finding it quite difficult to find anything. When I used the Ego-T, I found cleaning the atomiser impossible and it never produced even close to as good a vape as before I cleaned it...

Also, I've heard the batteries referred to as AAA batteries...does that mean you could use standard AAA batteries in them?!

Final question, if I take the leap, do I want black, white, silver, pink or red? I'm tempted by red or pink... pink might be a bit too girly though...x

I haven't had mine very long, so I can't say much about the attys lasting. They use the same ones as the ego-c a style though, so you should be able to find out more looking those up.

I will say I really like mine so far, and they aren't bad to clean. I just grab the spike the wick is in with some forceps and wiggle it up and off. Run the wick and coil under hot water and if you think you need to, dry burn the coil before you put the spike/wick piece back on. I really like that you can dry burn it without the wick on... There are several videos on youtube

I hadn't bothered trying the ego-c because I HATED the ego-t tanks but this seems to be a lot better than that was. I only get leaks if I let the juice get to low, and rarely then. My only complaint is that the tank system seems to mute flavors a bit.

I ordered the 510 adapter at the same time since I was pretty paranoid about the tank system. It works fine, and looks pretty good with the boge sr stainless cartos. Might be especailly cute with a shorty and a matching driptip ;)

No you can't use a AAA. they're about the same size, but the voltage is different. 3.7v on a ecab battery and I want to say 1.5v on a AAA? I've been looking at higher mah batteries that might work in it but haven't really found much yet. As for color I got the pink. Next I want a white just because its got the silver accents :p

Not sure what EU laws will be but... if it's a ban on ecigs, then having a non-proprietary and not widespread batt connection, like the eCab, isn't a good idea. Any eGo connection (510) will be in much more abundance on the secondary market. There IS an eCab to 510 adapter, so if you get one, you should also get that as well.

I really like the look of these! About how long does the battery last? Could you possible post a pic of how you have it set up?

I have an ecab and like it. The 350mah batteries last longer than I expected, but I carry a few with me in a small plastic case if I need to change it. The atomizer is easier to clean than the ego tank because you can take it out and work with it. To clean you have to carefully pry the spike out, wash the wick with water and dry burn the coil. I don't use mine exclusively, but I do use it every day. Probably filled the tank at least 75 times and it still doesn't leak much at all. I have cleaned the atomizer once and am still using the original that came with it. You need a bottle with the thin nipple on it so you can fill the tank without removing the tank cap...makes it so much easier to fill. Nice ecig, IMO.

The atomizers last around a month from what I heard, depending on how you use and clean it they may last longer. I've seen them produce good flavor and vapor. I thought the EU directive was just about e-liquids, the maximum size of the sale-unit and nicotine concentration it doesn't cover the vaping kits as far as I know.
