I sent an email out to the customer service, will let you know what I hear back. It LOOKS like it would fit but after reading her description and taking a second glance it may have a slight lip at the base that would make it not fit the Echo.
Yeah I was looking at that too. Yep I would definately check before ordering. Did you ask if that 1300 iturbo battery was an auto or manual?

Awesome ill give it a shot in the next few weeks.

Can't wait to hear how they work out.

anyone know off hand how much shorter an 1100 is compared to a 1300, or how much longer compared to a 650? Couldn't find a length in descriptions.

The 1100 is my favorite. I don't have the 1300 yet. 1100 is the prefect size for all day usage for me so the 1300 is something I will get just to complete my collection. Bills still out though.

They are still on order. I sent her a pm asking when they will come in. She's still on the forum but I think she's probably trying to be careful with the rules.
I'm gonna pull the trigger on the 808 clearomizer. I just can't handle pulling ejuice through a wad of polyfill anymore. DCCs devour power and juice so I don't like them either. I made up a delicious Peaches and Cream juice and put it in an 808 carto on a XL battery and it was sooooooo good. Put that very same juice in a single coil Echomizer and it tastes horrid. It sat in the echomizer over night and was topped off again this orning. Hope the clearos don't leak.:?:

I can't see a lip at the bottom.............

I agree. The lip looks the same depth as an echo. The only problem I had with the 510 version is that the tip gave me a funny taste. I figured out how to mod it though so the liquid was sealed inside. One of your ample collections of soft 808 tips can be jammed into the silver ring. I cut it down to fit inside. I've heard the new versions are glued and can't be taken apart. We'll have to see. They should still last a long time though from my experience with ce2 type clearos. Hopefully the can still be rebuilt as easy as the 510 version.

I found and subsequently lost a site that showed a really small clear tank attached to an 808d that would be great for testing DIY and now I can't find the link. It holds about .5 to .9 of juice but the vendor was out of them at the time. Now I'm having a "senior moment" and can't remember the site g-r-r-r-r-r-r-r. Has anyone else seen these elusive little clearos?

Mtn Vapor 808d Tank Atomizer

They don't last as long as top coil ce2s because they can't be dismantled but they are good for juice testing.

I ordered some last week, but then got an email saying they were waiting for their shipment to come in, they offered to ship the rest of my order now, but the rest of my order was just a 300mah echo charger that i just wanted to have, just because, so im still waiting for my whole order to ship. should be soon though.

YES!! Thank you. I knew when I saw them that I could use them for testing and then I saw they were out of stock. Major bummer but the stock should be replenished soon I hope. Thanks again.

so I just took apart the dcc that wouldn't fire on my sealed battery and was hit n miss on the unsealeds. I used a screw driver to pop out the guts like errol talks about. Wasn't worried about snagging anything bc I wasn't gonna put it back together. Anyway. Worked well, with force. Didn't actually hurt anything either. But found the inside to be a bit burnt.

Anyway, I ended with with a nice cone for my echo like Charlz talked about before. It has one of the big 808d cartos from northwest vapors in it, and I used a rubber echo tip (so many uses for those) to secure everthing at the top!

Howdy, just wondering how do you guys clean your echo cartos? I've reached the point w/ a few of mine where they just don't taste like they used to. I also have a couple of flavors I'd like to eliminate and start over w/. I was thinking of boiling them like the videos I've seen for the Boge 510s, but wasn't sure what the best method may be.

Boiling produces less then desirable results and takes a long time. The flush method works best. Cartomizer/Atomizer Cleaning Kit - With 10ml Control Syringe, Luer-lock compatible w/cleaning tubes and instructions

If you have a single coil echomizer that is worse than the others, you can try taking it apart using this method. Careful with the dry burn part.....echos don't like it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/188388-how-clean-rebuild-gogo-cartomizer.html It's not as easy as it sounds with echos and the wide air tube has made finding the appropriate sized cocktail straw impossible so far.

I was meditating on your straw issue Charlz, would it not be possible to use a straw that is too small and simply slice it down the side making it able to open a little wider but still maintain a round straw shape and firmness?

Yep. I've tried that too. Sliced it and squeezed it smaller and used a tube from a dead carto while I wrapped the filler. I don't know....just coudn't get it back in right. The carto just tasted burnt. I should point out I've has the same results with standard sized kr8s too. Only got 1 out of five attempts rebuilt right.

Thanks though. Seems like you may be just the guy to work it out.

Yes I have heard of others using the slicing method. I haven't taken any apart to clean myself. I still have about 30 new ones left to use before I get to that point if ever. lol
