my 1300 battery just went dead, put it charging 1 minute ago...i will post back here when its fully charged.

i have also noticed that these batteries perform the same until they go dead. maybe the volt decline is so gradual that i dont notice it? TX, you said the go-go drops off somewhat noticable toward the end of the battery charge...have you noticed the same on the echo? unless my head is playing tricks on me, i dont see a decline in voltage.

I haven't actually noticed a drop off in vapor before the battery discharges either. I just seem to notice it when it needs re-filling. That is the only negative thing about an auto is you can't monitor the voltage but as long as it works good that is the main thing.

I got in touch with Tony at Cropduster and he is going to check with the engineers at the company and get some answers on the reason for the low charge rate for these batteries. It will probably be a couple of days or so before he gets an answer being as it is the weekend.

They have weekends in China?

Really 1300's? My 1300 has red.

yup...blue as blue can be, lol. the boxes do look just a bit different. the box from dput is black with silver and blue logo on it, the one from cropduster is also black but with gold lettering (and looks slightly fancier).
the units work exactly the same.....they are identical as far as i can tell.

Yeah I can't figure that out, Like I said Cropduster is checking on why they are choking off the charger with the 150 ma usb connection. The charger itself puts out 500 ma. You know the led on the battery goes out and the led on the usb turns green but is underneath the connector and hard to see, the wall charger on most of them stays red but the they are changing that on the new ones so that it also will turn green when charge completes.

Just e-mailed china. The factory rep is going to ask the guy's in lab coats why they made the usb chargers output so low and if there is anything we can do to get around this problem. will keep you all informed as soon as i get a reply. It may take a couple of days, being as our sunday night is their monday ..........................Wait a minute i think my head just exploded.

Just to clarify, the wall wart portion is just a 5v 500ma power supply. The "adapter" is the actual charger. You could feed the charger with 2 amps off of a powered USB hub, and it will still charge at 150ma. My 1300 batt has been on the charger since 3pm... still charging.

Thanks stand corrected, he is checking on why they use a 500 ma power supply and a 150 ma charger.

Yeah, that would be mathematically impossible. But, I'm used to these manuals being less than correct, so not a huge surprise. Thanks to those who are digging into this, current and future Echo users appreciate it.

Yeah I know what you mean I don't think I've ever found the right manual with the right PV or at least an accurate one. That is why I never read them. lol
