Ok, this is how much I like my echo....for the first time in my life (for as long as I can remember) I am day 3 of no analogs. Yep, I have a ways to go....but to start it over the weekend was a feat in and of itself because I was in social situations where I would ALWAYS smoke.

I pretty much chain vaped because I needed to do something. The Echo is certainly a work horse. Last year I started with just KR808s from V4L (which are perfectly fine) but they just didn't do it for me. The Echo....well, it may just be my saving grace.

Today, I feel like I have a cold (though I could have really bad allergies too) and I have not had a good nights sleep in 3 nights.... That being said - for the last 3 mornings I haven't had left over 'ashtray' breath from the night before which is FANTASTIC!

Thank you Echo! Thank you Bill from D&B Gold for getting my Echo to me so quickly and for the best price around as well! And thanks for everyone who has been posting and asking questions on this thread. You guys gave me enough knowledge and insight to convince me to make the initial purchase of the Echo!

Congrats!!!!!!!!! 3 days is a great start. Glad the Echo is getting through the rough first few days. Feeling bad is normal. You will feel great in no time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Vermonter! It will only get better as time goes on. I'm at 18 months now and wish they would have had the Echo when I started vaping but it was a good experience searching for the best PV although very expensive. I have tried most of the different types of PV's on the market and I haven't found any that work as good as the Echo for me. The Go-go is very good also but the automatic battery on the Echo and its looks make it a better choice for me.

Thanks for the support guys! I can't even believe I'm doing this. I would never have even found the Echo without all of you posting about it! Hopefully today will be another day....day 4! I cannot believe how responsive the auto battery is on this thing - just amazing!

The battery and how well the carto works surprises me as well even as a novice. Plus the low maintenance factor of me being able to take just a charged and filled up one to work with nothing else is awesome! I'm surprised how long it lasts in all departments.

I have a "possessed" battery!!! Seriously this thing has a mind of its own. I take a drag and stop but it keeps going. It got scary after a while so I took off the cart and set it on my desk. That was about 3 days ago. I'm sitting in the dark since hubby is snoring close by in the chair and saw a flashing blue light. Not a fast flash, a slow flash like it was sending signals with a message! No cart attached either just the naked battery! What's up with this thing????

Speaking of batteries... I have one that has suddenly gotten a bit weird. When I put it on the charger, the LED doesn't light up (and I've been using it all day, so it definitely needs it). If I unscrew it a bit from the charger, the LED flashes (so I know it still works).

Any ideas? The battery is only ~3 weeks old, and the other one is still working fine.

Did you try a different cart with it? Mine does that with the dual coil cartos because of the higher current but never has with a regular echo carto. It might have drained down some sitting there and maybe that is why it is flashing. I would charge it up and try a different carto and if it still does it contact the supplier.

I would vape it all the way down until it shuts off and then try it and see if it works right. I always vape mine until cutoff and then charge it. I know my Go-go acted up when I first got it but would reset after a full discharge. If that doesn't work contact the supplier.

It's either not drained enough like TX said or what I've found on one of my batteries is that I need to wiggle the center post up a little because when screwing on the cartos sometimes I tighten them too much and the post pushed down. After wiggling the post up I screw in the battery to the charger while the charger is plugged in and the blue light will light up. If it doesn't then I wiggle it again and it usually lights up the second time I try it. Just what I've experienced.

Congrats vermonter16!!! keep it up. The convenience of the echo is what I love about it. No more fiddling with the pv during the day. I've loaded three cartos with different flavors and will just swap out when I want one of the other flavors.

I for one and pleased that my own mishaps and follies may save others from such hiccups in their vaping pursuits!

It's always important to hear the good and the bad. Your experience helps others when and if the same things happen. You seem to peek the curiousity in people on this forum DarthVpr and that's a good thing.

That seems to be what I'd inadvertantly done - I woke up this morning to a battery that is charging with the LED on.... it wasn't like that when I plugged it in last night. Guess I may have taken it right to zero.

Alternatively, it may have been an issue with the charger -the post in the USB charger seemed to have come loose the other day.

Thanks for the input all!

I have found that sometimes I have to adjust the charger and sometimes take off the battery and put it back on. The light always comes on after I mess with it a little. I just thought it was how I have it set up. It does kinda hang there heavy.

You can get a USB extension cable from MadVapes for a few bucks then you don't have to worry about the batt weighing on the charger. I got got one and it is really good quality

I was bummed to get a red LED on my chrome ECHO when I thought I ordered blue, but you win some you lose some, right?
The batteries are amazing.
The cartomizers are being finicky. I know I have more than enough juice, but I get a funky taste every 20 puffs or so, refill, then same thing. Do I really have to disassemble, clean, and rebuild? I have my favorite niquid in here. What was the consensus on pushing/pulling on the filler?
Also, my 808 chargers are too recessed for the ECHO. I guess I'll have to get some more chargers.
The whistle tip is weird, but that is just my personal preference. I just cut it down to make a nice rubber drip tip.

I LOVE the whistle tip. Wish I could find one just like it for the 510 cartos I have.

+1 I love the whistle tip that comes with the Echo. On my gogo I almost always use a whistle tip, seems to give me more flavor. Bill of D & B Gold is sending me a drip tip to try on the Echo, so I'll see if my mind can be changed. :)
