You can get a USB extension cable from madvapes for a few bucks then you don't have to worry about the batt weighing on the charger. I got got one and it is really good quality

There's also this. I just got it in the mail the other day. So far seems to work great. BUT you need an AC adapter that's at least 800+mA (or your computer's usb port works of course). Plus it has many other uses naturally :)

I love those USB splitters. That's what I've been using for all my 808 batteries.

I received my Echos from BILLB OKC and am in love with ECHO!! It's awesome! So far no problems and it stays charged forever!!
I might mention he has great prices and fast shipping!! I see he just got another shipment in and is selling kits for $45.00. Just placed another order today! I haven't searched too much, but I believe this is the best price going!! Get your Echo today!

... So I am filling these ECHO cartos and I can't get them to stop leaking. I cut an 808 condom and insert the nub into the threaded end. Problem solved, but is there a more elegant solution?
BTW they are not leaking during use, just during filling.

Mine never leak until they are full or I get juice in the center air tube. I get just a few drops short of 3.5 ml in a new carto before I get any drops out the bottom.

Dripping out the bottom while filling means they are FULL. Or, you might be filling them too quickly and not giving the juice the chance to settle in.

I like the stock tips better as well. I have the aluminum whistle drip tips and do not like them. They alter the taste of my juice and I can taste a metal taste. Thought all my new juices were bad till I figured it out...lol.

Glad you said that I was thinking about getting some aluminum ones.

Bill is awesome for sure! I just ordered a bunch of cartos for the sexy 650 manual ECHOs he sold me. With Bill as my supplier I might finally get even, or better yet ahead, over the cost of regular cigs.

As far as the aluminum tips vs the stock ones, I like the fit of the aluminum better. Can't count how many times the stock one has come loose and the pv succumbs to gravity. However I've noticed, with some juices, that the larger hole in the aluminum does affect flavor. The really stong flavors like cinnamon aren't really affected, though the light flavors do seem a bit lighter. I've learned that both seem to work well for different purposes.

As far as the leaking mentioned before, the only time mine leak is during filling which was explained that it is normal to have a few drops indicating that the cart is full. I hold the cart at 45 degrees and rotate while slowly filling the cart, to avoid getting any juice down the center hole. Once a drop or two comes out the battery side, I use a paper towel to absorb any excess until there is no more juice at all, then it's onto the batt and ready for action.

I forgot to mention about the USB extension cable as mentioned before. I found a bunch of these retracable type extension cables at the local Dollar Tree store for a buck a piece. They work great in the car, on the desk, just about anywhere. The echo 150mah usb part of the charger slides into one end without any issues.

I found that the aluminum drip tips sold by Ikenvapes were spotty for the echo-e. The silver colored ones left a metallic aftertaste. The black aluminum ones were fine. I finally settled for the hard plastic whistle tips for 801 carts that I got from Inhaler when I was searching for gogo tips. I'm glad I saved them. I've invested heavy in echo-e cartos and these tips are the .....

I have some of those too and they work great. I thought it was Nhaler that had the hard plastic 801 cart tips. I got mine with some 801 attys. It does pay to keep stuff because you never know when it will work with something. They do get a little condensation whereas the 801 drip tips don't but I just blow them out every once in a while.

So where did you find your aluminum tips at?

OK, I washed a few cartos and refilled with a fresh syringe. Now I understand why I bought an ECHO :)
Must have been user error or something.
... I still want to find a 1300 chrome with blue LED, though. Petty, I know, but...

Also, there really doesn't seem to be a very big difference between drip or whistle, except the way it feels on one's lips.
