Carto number 2 just completly quit working. I tested it on my echo battery and a 3.7 box mod with an adaptor.

Sorry to hear that. I've only had two bad cartos since May. Did you try to pry up the post a little on the carto maybe it got pushed down when you were trying a different pv?

Hi everyone, just curious if anyone has found a good method to extract and save your juice when you get a bad carto. Please share your methods! Lot's of folks are wasting juice that could be saved.
-Rob

remove the filler
remove the plunger from a syringe
insert the filler in the syringe
reinsert the plunger
hold the syringe over the juice bottle and squeeze the juice out of the filler with the plunger

True. Or try Darth's method for raising a center post. Hold the carto threaded-end down and give it a few good knocks on a hard surface. Works well on batteries also.

I think I lost my first 1300 battery. Was vaping fine last night, and all of a sudden, NOTHING........ No hit, no led light, just dead. I believe it has taken too many falls (I always set it on led side straight up). It feels like batt inside moves back and forth when I shake it. It also won't light up on charger. I wanted to confirm that it is done for good, or if I can bring her back to life. If she's gone, then I have an excuse to get another kit and try some d/c cartos.

OUCH!! I have no clue...I've dropped my Echo batteries several times...but lately I haven't used them...got them out to charge...they're charged up...I just popped on a d/c cart on my 1300 E....oh my goodness! Now I suppose to compare right...I should use a regular cart...then check the vaping...lol I've been vaping with the IGO/tanks for about the past 6 weeks....well...IMO nothing can compare to that. think you should just pop on over to http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...94316-d-b-gold-has-echo-e-cartomizers-53.html and get you a couple backups!!

Hey all,

Just to drop an up to date post concerning my experiences with the Echo Auto 1300mah kit I got last week, I thought I'd stop by and share.

While it isn't going to make anyone confuse me with a dragon, or house on fire, vapor production has become pretty decent. Throat kick has gone away, though, which is weird since I have not adjusted anything - still using the same juice and whatever. Flavor is fine, which is something I don't remember mentioning before, but, since I only vape one particular flavor (Crimson Cow from Blue Mist at 18mg,) I'm probably so used to it that my tastebuds aren't bothering to register it. Or they're being lazy... Which wouldn't surprise me since I'm not on speaking terms with my tongue most of the time.

Battery life is great, but I make a habit of switching out batteries when one is done charging and I think about it. So I'm not sure how long it would last between first to last puff. Still, haven't crapped out on me yet, so I'm happy with the fact I no longer need to give up a pocket for a charging case.

The DC cartos are fine. Like I said, my flavor habits limit what I can say about it, and vapor production is just middle of the road. Only thing that's gone wrong is that, out of the two cartos I rotate between (Have never vaped one completely dry- I fill and switch for shiesta and giggles,) one casing is coming off the threading- revealing the (Unburnt :D!) filler. It can pop back on easy enough, and, even when it came off pretty far, there was no leaking. Weird.

So, all in all, I'm satisfied. Not to the point where I'll shout my love from the rooftops, but enough so that I'm not actively searching for a replacement. But when that magical mini-type system comes out ( the one that only needs to be filled once a week, fills your mouth with lov... er flavor, and is charged forever... yeah. That one...) I'mma gonna switch.

Oh, and every girl that tries it thinks it's too big. Which I find satisfying since I love making myself look like I'm overcompensating.

Where's a good place to get a 650ish riva or echo-e battery to replace my aging eGo batts? I like the idea of higher voltage off the charger. I'm using echo e dc's. I can get an ego manual for 12.95.

MadVapes has a Smok Tech 3.7v eGo Style 900mah Battery on sale for $9.99 that you may want to look at and read why it is being sold at this price. The shipping is fair at $2.99 for small orders.

AFAIK, there is no difference between the echo-e 650 batt and most Rivas except possibly the exterior finish. Both are just unregulated lithium batts. I have seen them, but the price is usually much higher than you will pay for most Riva 650's. I think this is why they are hard to find. You can get a 650 Riva batt at Liberty Flights (click here) for $12 with their 20% off coupon (click "Discount Codes" near the top). I have 2 of these since April and both are still going strong.
