Now that there are more Echo users it was suggested we start a thread for the New Echo. It is an awesome PV and deserves its own thread.
The Standard Echo comes with either the 650 or 1300 automatic batteries. It has a 3 ml carto that holds closer to 3.5 on a new one and 3 ml on refills. The carto is designed to last for at least 100 refills.
The battery is awesome and lasts me for 18 hours of vaping and the carto lasts me 12 hrs until I have to refill.
I thought I would repeat some of that for new people joining the thread.

Do the 1300 come in silver? The only place I looked at the Echo had the 650 in silver but for the same price I'd want the 1300. Not interested in another black battery...

Johnnybass has some silver ones. You might PM him and ask if he still has some. He hasn't got his website up yet. I'm not sure if dput has any silver ones or not.
The Silver Echos are nice looking. I have one coming in the mail.

I have been looking at maybe purchasing the Echo (I see cropduster901.com) has them (but currently out of stock) but it looks like I can just purchase the Mega Cartomizers (from TotallyWicked) for my EGO that I currently use. Am I missing something? The Echo-E cartridges look the same as the Mega EGO Cartomizers that are also available. I'm not referring to the regular Echo carts that fit the 901/808 connection but the cart that is called the Echo-E and fits the EGO 501 connection. Any input on this would be much appreciated. It seems people that have been raving about the Go-Go are now really liking the Echo and I am interested as well. People seem to really like using an automatic battery like when these things first came out. I have seen some comments that state that the Echo is the closest thing they have used that replicates a "real" cigarette. I currently use the EGO with LR carts and regular atomizers and am pretty satisfied but am always looking and thinking "is there more" out there that is even better. Thanks and happy vaping!!!

Thanks Tex. For the people just now hearing about the Echo series, we have three great suppliers on this forum. All three are active on this forum and can be contacted via private message....

dput (Mountain Vapor)
fogdaddy (CropDuster901)
JohnnyBass

The Echo is a great PV for vapor, flavor, throat hit, liquid capacity, and price. Some might even call it a game changer. At least for now. This industry is moving fast.

Good Day, JJ :)

I'm thinkiing of getting one of these for my wife. You say the battery lasts for 18 hors is that the 1300 or the 650? If it's not the 650 do you know how long that lasts. I use the Go-Go but hesitate getting her one of those because she just throws the one she has in her purse needs really easy to use or she won't use it.

The Ego Mega Cartos claim to hold 2.5ml and I used them for about a month but as most vendors are now stating with them, don't put more than 1.8ml on the first fill-up. The kicker that would push the Echo-E over the top is that unlike the Ego Mega which requires (yes requires) a syringe to fill, the Echo-E is just like the other Echo's as to filling.

Remove the soft top and drip down the sides or your "normal" method for filling a carto. The Echo cartos also appear built for the long haul with the superior bottom coil placement. The absolute best I ever got from an Ego Mega carto was 4 days and toss it. With it taking a syringe and removal of 2 tiny plastic pieces to fill, you can imagine how nigh impossible cleaning an Ego Mega would be.

All reports seem to say that the Echo-E rivals or equals the GO-GO as to flavor, vapor, etc. I can tell you from personal experience the difference between a GO-GO carto and a Ego Mega aren't even on the same planet as to all aspects. Check some of the guides and I think you'll find it money well spent to try the Echo-E cartos. I certainly am. :)

Al, the 650 works good for my wife. She is not a heavy vapor though. It depends on how much she vapes. My wife likes the smaller 650 battery so she keeps 2 with her in her purse

Agree - I am using the 650 right now (although I have a 1300 coming to try out). Love the size of them. I am rotating between two of them all day (two different flavors) and have not yet run a battery dry before I got home to charge them in the late evening. Everything depends on how much she vapes but a primary 650 with one spare battery should last her all day unless she chain vapes.

Thanks for the info Fiore.. Yea the smaller size is the reason I'm thinking about the 650 also. That and the auto battery. Just need to make sure it will last for more than a couple hours.

I have had my echo for a few days now and and don't have a single complaint. I am a light vaper, 1-1.5 ml a day and this really is a no hassle device for me. I filled the carto wed afternoon and haven't added to it since. I took the 650 off the charger yesterday morning and haven't had to change that yet either!!! It is still vaping strong!! I can only imagine how long the 1300 bat will last?? Love the echo!!! :hubba::hubba:

Rhinsen the Echo-e is far better than the mega carto. You don't want to waste your time and money on them. The bottom horiz coil design is the only way to go in my opinion. I've been using them a couple of months and they are by far the best cartos I've used. I really like them with the auto battery best though.

That's great Colts Fan I'm glad you like it too. I'm a heavy vaper and the 1300 lasts me about 18 hours and a carto about 12 hours. They are so easy to refill too.

Thanks for the info Tex and others..

I think I will order the Echo-E cartos to use with my ego. Now I have to find someone who has them in stock that actually has a website. I don't want to order through email. I don't understand, why aren't there more people who sell them. I think only 3 different suppliers have been noted.

Has anyone had one of these carto's quit working yet? It is advertised that it can be refilled a 100 times.

I've only had one bad one in 2 months of using them. It had real high resistance and didn't produce much vapor. None have actually popped or had the coils burn out that I'm aware of.

I know what you mean but Johnnybass and Dput are both just getting started and haven't got their websites up yet. Several of us have ordered from them and they are very good vendors. There will be a lot more selling them soon but they are just hitting the US market. They have had them in Europe for a couple of months.

Hey Rhinsen, If your Ego is not Broke don't fix it. IN my opinion If you find something that works don't keep looking for other items unless you are looking for convenience. After over 2 years on & off Vaping I found simple being where it is at.I was always looking for "better" stuff and spent a lot of money only realizing it was making me go crazy with a mod for this and a fix for that. The end result is always the same. DON'T SMOKE.
Just my 2cents.
Great post TX keep em coming!

Yes, I understand, but if you didn't search for the "better" stuff than maybe you wouldn't be using the Go-Go and still be using the 510 or something. Just sayin....
