Just musing here as I haven't gotten an Echo kit yet (til the first of the month anyway) but I did check my chargers. The Ego's run @ 4.2 volt 420 mah out; the GO-GO at 4.2 volt 500 mah out and both regular 808 chargers I have list at 4.2 volt 200 mah out.

Being purely ignorant of such thing, it sounds like the Echo's are shipping currently with regular 808 class/type chargers. It is slower but does get there. Hopefully they'll gear up for a higher mah charger output but they may have a reason for the slow charge route. I'm sure Dput will get an answer for us soon. :)

This is what i got from the factory rep as far as battery chargers. Because of the battery design they can only be charged at 150ma . The fact that the power supply is rated at 500ma output is because they use the same power supply for many models.
The engineers are saying DO NOT TRY TO FAST CHARGE ECHO AUTO batteries. This info is what was sent to me by the factory rep. They did not go into great detail about this. I have told the factory rep that a lot of vapers are not happy about this and suggested they look into some way of correcting this problem.

The draw on them is also definitely more airy but the throat hit is good and so is the vapor. There is a lot of air noise when I take a drag. I see the notches at the base of the cone where the air is allowed (needs) to come in. When I take a drag off my Ego with a regular LR cart there really isn't any air sound when I take a hit as opposed to the Echo-E carts. I have slowed my drag a bit to compensate this and am very much liking these. One thing that I have noticed is the inhale is not as warm as my LR cart. Just my observations...

Can you share what juice of theirs is causing the problem? I use their Atomic Cinnacide in an pg80/20vg and haven't had any issues. I do cut it 50/50 DK Tab so it's really more like pg90/10vg. I haven't had a problem yet but again, I do put cartos aside for cleaning after 4-5 days use so I may just not have noticed it yet.

Thanks! :)

i only used tastyvapors caramel apple and dulce de ...something? both very heavy caramel flavor. i understand that caramel is a carto killer but after reading reviews, users of tastyvapors juices have complained about clogging attys anf carts in a very short time...including using their tobacco flavor juices. im using 70pg/30vg

Thanks for the feedback! I have plenty of cartos to last me for a bit but thanks for the heads up! I will be careful of the caramel flavors. :)

Backwoods Malty Toffee? I was wondering how well these cartos do with VG? Doesn't sound too good. I've got a kit on the way. Tony actually told me that he only vapes VG and that he has no problem with it. Eco Pure Rich is my daily vape and I haven't had much luck with it in cartos even though it is fairly thin for a VG.

While we are on the subject, could you help out a newb and explain what you guys do with the syringe fill method? I see it mentioned but not in great detail. Just a little better picture would help me out. Thanks

Not much to explain, you just fill the syringe with 3 ml of juice slide it in the edge of the filler at inject one mil do the same on otherside and so forth until it is full. A new carto will take almost 3.5 to fill it completely full. Using a syringe is much faster and easier than dripping 100 drops in but both ways work fine.

You can get a 5 ml syringe that has a blunt tip and works great fo 1.50 here with free shipping. They ask you to buy more than one or something else because shipping is more than the 1.50. They also have dse801 cartridge that work as extra tips if you lose one and 801 driptips that work good as well. 5ml Filler Needle

I use home-brew VG juice in mine. I've put about 15mL through one carto since last Friday. I think it's starting to gum the atty up, because the vapor amounts are dropping. I'm gonna try to pull the filler out of it tonight once I vape it down a bit more.

Sounds like VG is having a tough time on these carts. If you follow mohawkx's guide, you can clean the filler and dry burn the coil. I use mostly 90 and some 80 PG in mine and they seem to last forever for me. I wonder if there is a filler difference between old and new cartos.

I think iwould wash carts before use. I filled 3 and they all tasted horible for the first 50 capes. Two of them came around but one still taste bad malted toffee Other than that it is great.

I think this is a very good idea. I have started boiling mine four times for about 10 mintes and changing the water each time before using. who knows what contaminets and chemicals may be on the filler. after all these are very inexpensive items at $1.20 each wholesale.

why take a chance as the boiling only helps to clean them?

I pulled it apart a bit ago, cleaned the filler, and dry-burned the atty. Can't put it back together because I don't have the necessary straws to do so. Have to go hunting tomorrow.
