Thanks Flip I tried some heavier juices with 50% Vg mixes and it did not diminish as much.I guess the 100% VG gums up rapidly. Do you thin out with GA, vodka or distilled water?
mn puffer-I would say approx 3 ml per day x 7 days x 2 weeks so about 42 ml before weak hits. Lately I have been using Dekang juices with about 20% VG added to mellow out nic content.

My VG juices are very thin, the VG just sticks to the atty coil very quickly and thick. I thin with Everclear and distilled water, and my DIY mix is as thin or thinner than most commercially available PG juices.

Wash, Just make sure you don't get the urge to fill the carto when attached to that nice new auto battery. I killed one when I first was testing these out about 2 months ago. So far that was the only one & I have been using the second one everyday since. I also use the Echo e carto on a 650 manual ego battery which works great but does't hold as much juice.

Definitely made sure that I filled the cart off before placing on the battery. It's performing pretty good so far.

A message from Mrs. Fogdaddy: Just a quick message to everyone to say thank you for your kind words and patience. Our I.T. guy (our son) is typing his little fingers off to get us back up and running. Also, thank you for all the supportive e-mails and phone calls. It's great to know we have so many friends out there. Echo, had to say that since this is the echo thread=)

I've only tracked one carto to see how many refills and that was my first Go-Carto and I got 20 something refills before it seem to gunk up and needed cleaning so that would be about 50 ml or so. I got more re-fills than that out of the others I've used. I basically use menthol 80-20 PG 75% of the time and it doesn't seem to gunk the coil. I've been using the Echo three weeks but haven't been able to track how much I've put through an individual carto yet being as I've broken two and have been using a couple of different ones but I expect to get 50 to 100 ml through one before I need to clean it, if I ever decide to clean one.:2cool:

It was a regular Echo cart. It comes apart just like you show in the pictures, and I found that the white heat shrink tubing from Harbor Freight (in the multipack of black white red) is a perfect fit around the tube.

Flavor, Vapor, and TH seem pretty much the same as when it was new.

Well, that makes me feel good. The Gocart rebuild I did carries over to the Igo and echo, bottom coil cartomizers. That was the whole idea, to demonstrate that we could completely rebuild and analyze a cartomizer. You don't sell the vehicle, you sell the gas. Cartomizers are a big part of the business. It will be interesting to see how the industry deals with long-life cartomizers that consumers can refurbish at will.

Wow, I wonder what is paypals deal on e-cigs, maybe it is time to boycott them. They are handy to use though I just don't understand the reason.

I had a nightmare with PayPal over trying to make an e-cig related purchase. First, I doubt there is a way to interact with a human at PayPal since everything is automated. I filled a complaint on PayPal with the vendor and decided to close my PayPal account. They wouldn't allow me to close my account, so I canceled the card and got another one to get loose from them. The computer generated response I got from PayPal reference their refused purchase simply said questionable account activity. The purchase involved e-nic juice for DIY mixers. I will personally never have anything to do with PayPal again, especially after they wouldn't let me close my account. There was no other logical reason for their refusal EXCEPT the items being purchased. I refuse to let someone tell me that I can't buy something that's 100% legal and proper.

Question: since the Echo-e is designed to work with Ego batts, can I still use it on my manual batts? I prefer the manuals, but everything I've read says the Echo-e uses auto batts.
I was thinking of only buying the cartos, not the kit.

You can use the echo-e on any ego/riva that is what they are made for. It is just the standard Echo that has an auto battery.

I have sent them two emails and they are bumping me up the chain of command so maybe someone is actually reading them.

Yes. The Echo-E's are designed for "Ego" type manual batteries. There is an Echo (not Echo-e) that uses the auto type batteries. Carts that are designed for the Echo (not Echo-e) will only fit on Echo batteries and not Ego type batteries.

Wow, guess this was already answered... Didn't see previous post(s)...

Does anyone else feel the Echo cartos produce a rather dry vape before juice is completely used up? I have used a couple of the cartos and I can put in about 3 mil of juice in them, but they seem to give a very dry vape (not burnt) but very dry after an hour or so of use..

Anyways I just noticed this on the ones I have and seems like it needs topping off way to fast for the amount of juice still left in them. I dont have that happen with the Boges. They always stay rather wet (if you get my analogy) of what I mean by wet (more moist)

the Echo auto batt is great and it works well but I am preferring my Boges more at this point..

I'd like to hear what others are thinking on these..

doots,

I know what your talking about and its the reason I use an 801 drip tip on mine. One of the things that I feel Echo needs to look into is the filler, I think the filler they are using in the dual coil cartos would be extremely great in this carto, they could use less filler since it's a fluffier one and I also believe it would improve the flavor as well as it being a safer filler.

thanks MW,
I was thinking that too.. I would suggest they do that. I think it would make a huge difference. I use an 801 dt also and have to top off often.. :) Thanks for your input!

I don't have that problem with mine. I don't seem to get any drop off until it is time to refill and I get about 3.5 on new cart and just short of 3ml on a refill. Maybe it is the different juices we use. I use 80-20 pg menthol most of the time.:2cool:

Thanks TX,

I have tried different mixes to see if that helps from 50/50 all the way down to all pg. Seems like the pg does best but I think there might be inconsistencies in the cartos. I had 2 of the echo-e that would not vape at any voltage. The 808s seem best from my experience.
I do think they need to look at the filler material. I am still experimenting with them. I like the system a lot however..
