Does the 650 mah echo auto perform as well as the 1300 mah echo auto?

So far I actually prefer my 650 for amount of vapor produced. I know there shouldn't be any difference, but there is a big difference between my 650 and 1300's using the same carto. My case may be a fluke, but my guess is they may be generally comparable.

did you guys discuss cleaning echo cartos? if so, could you please tell me the page(s)?

It all depends on how thorough a cleaning you want to do. If you have been using heavy VG or think the coil is gunked up you might want to use the Mohawkz Method for Go-Gos http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/188388-how-clean-rebuild-gogo-cartomizer.html If you just want to clean out some old juice just running hot water through it will work. Some use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean them, others boil them, some say don't boil them. I have used the running hot water thorough them and used an ultrasonic cleaner methods. I haven't tried boiling yet but mwa did and said it worked great, I also heard boiling can make the filler shrink. You should do some research and choose which ever method you are comfortable with. You need to give them lots of time to dry which ever method you use. I'm not much into cleaning cartos so I can't give you any expert advice. I used the Go-Go for three months and never cleaned any but set a couple aside to clean someday. The jury is still out the Echo carto as far as how often you have to clean them.

does anyone know if the 901 echo cartos fit the echos from dput and tony?

or do i have to order the 808 thread cartos

I think that both the 901 and kr808 kind of the same thread. I have seen many people with kr808d1 model using 901 cartos, or atomizer, so I think that if you can use kr808 cartos, then you can also use 901 cartos on the Echo. I think I was wrong about this, I heard that 901 cartos will work on the 808 battery, but not the other ways around, 808 cartos will need an adapter to work with 901 battery since the battery doesn't have a hole or something like that.

I find this on the ecigsejuice website, which says "The Echo E cig is compatible with the KR808D and DSE901 Cartomizers and Atomizers as well."

BTW, have any tried to use other cartomizers on the ECHO like Bloog cartos, or Boge cartos, which I think is a lot cheaper than the regular ECHO cartos, and for people who use thick VG juice, it may help them to save a lot more money, if the cartos work good with the ECHO battery

it just bothers me to pay 5 bucks for a carto and it lasts me 3 days

Me too but if they work good as new after cleaning them like MWA posted, I will be okay. I'm not in for the extensive cleaning method of removing the filler just yet. I did clean two yesterday and they have been working good all day.

I haven't ordered from dput but the ones I got from Cropduster and Johnnybass were interchageable, I'm not sure about dputs. I also got some from Sterling that work too. I really don't know the difference between a 901 and a 808D.

since i tend to use 20-30% vg liquids that are very sweet and often dark in color, i have to clean or replace cartomizers somewhat often, regardless of the type. however, since i'm also somewhat lazy , i think i'll order an ultrasonic cleaner. thanks for all the info. :)

The ones from Dennis (dput) are interchangeable.

The echo cartos work with my KR808 batts, and my 808 cartos work fine with the echo batt. Either configuration does look a little silly though...

Just a quick update on the Echo battery/carto that I unknowingly dropped in a parking lot and was run over... I took the battery down to my shop this afternoon and used a pair of channel locks to make the battery tube and carto closer to round. The battery now works just like it did when new, and the carto is functioning perfectly. I'd say these things are reasonably indestructable. Maybe I'll use this one for shock testing to see how far we can drop it onto concrete before it quits functioning :). After all, it's already ugly!

so...the echos from dput and cropduster, are they 808 or 901?
i have tried my kr808 cartos on my echo couple weeks back and they work very nice.
is 808 and 901 the same threading but different breathing holes?

Yes, from what I've read the 808 and 901 have the same threading. I was looking at cartos on LF website and it said the 808 cartos wouldn't work with 901 batteries because 901 batts don't have vents and neither do the cartos. So apparently, 808 has the vents on the batteries and 901 has the vents on the attys/cartos.

I have my ultrasonic cleaner sitting next to me, came in today, plan on trying it out tomorrow, I will let you know txt how it works on these cartos, the turkey baster has been working very well like I posted a ways back. A large syringe with the needle off also fits nicely in the top of the Echo Carto to flush them out with, works good with boiling water I have also found. The one thing you have to remember is these are disposable cartos, the coil element is only going to last for so long just as in any carto or Atty, these are not Genesis type Atty's they are disposable cartos. In my opinion you will only get so many cleans and mileage out of this carto or any other on the market, if you only get one clean and re use your way ahead of the game. A pack of smokes on average is what $7 bucks and we all use to go through a pack, pack and a half or two a day, hell that's $10-15 a day guys, where talking about one Echo carto lasting days weeks, I have been using two now for I don't know how long but quite some time and there still going strong, point made I think

I will be looking forward to hearing which method works best. The syringe flush is a good ideal. I haven't heard that one before.:2cool:
