Thank Charlz

I did just as I finished my post lol... I was to impatient. I to 4 or 5 hits from it. I have to say it is effortless and amazing. I wish I had time to use it more, but I have to go work.

At home I drip with a 801 passthough. I have a HV atomizer, and it is amazing. I really enjoy the vapor. The Echo seems to be on another level. Plus I really like the fact I am not dripping. I have this thing with dripping. I obsess about cleaning the driptip after every time I drip e-liquid into the atomizer.

Also lastly I really feel like I feel a bigger hit from the nicotine then I do from other battery e-cigarets I have used.

Thanks to this thread. For it is the whole reason I purchased the Echo.

Same here, thanks so much for this thread and all the time and knowledge that goes into it! One could (should?) compile a complete Echo users hand book from it.

One question, what exactly is the Echo? Its in the Ego type section, but is it truly another version of the eGo? I would just like to know a little more about what I am using, so that when i encounter people with eGos and the such that may not know about the echo i can properly explain, i saw a post a while back saying that Hangsen is just the company that buys and sells them and that the manufactures are really the same..true false partially true?

I'm not going to go chasing the rabbit. Hangsen claims it as theirs. So I'll call it the HSEcho. HS=Hangsen. It's in this section because that's what they made Txtumbleweed do. He tried for a subforum because it really is a very different type of PV but was denied. It's all in the thread here somewhere. At one time, I read it all. Just kept bookmarking the page I was on until finally I ordered on and finished reading it as I waited for it to arrive. Took over a week. :)

Thanks, thats a good method, ive read about 80 pages, but kept loosing my place so it got kinda random! I originally clicked this topic because i was looking into an ego and was confused with all the different types, but the word Echo got my attention because it sounded cool and after Txtumbleweed's first post in here it sounded like exactly what I wanted (in my case a super-sized fully functional blu as my issues with the blu were battery life, carto-life/price, and sensitivity but i loved the blue led and auto draw)

I couldn't be happier, it feels as though the Echo was tailor made to me! --PS filled with a needle tipped bottle, worked out great thanks, looking forward to the syringe with greater control and measure marks

Actually some wanted us to make an Echo subforum like the Leo but I didn't want to do that myself. I thought it should be on the Ego Type Models forum so more people would read it. The subforums tend to get overlooked by new vapers looking for a PV. You can see the difference in looking at how many people have viewed this thread compared to the Leo subforum and they started about the same time. Actually after looking at it the Leo thread started about four months before this one. I'm sure a subforum would have it's benefits and it would probably be easier to find particular information. I think one could be started if that is what users would like. You would just have to talk to the Moderator.

At one time some ego users tried to get Go-Go posters removed from posting on the Ego Type Forum and that is when the moderators stepped in an spelled out the purpose of this forum and listed all the different devices and what the intent of this forum was. I am glad it has been a success and lots of vapers have tried the Echo and most people that enjoy an automatic like it. I've bought lots of different PV's, cartos and tanks before and since I first got my Echo, mostly out of curiosity but I haven't found anything that has taken the Echos place as my favorite. I use several different PV's durring a day but most of the time you will find me with an Echo in my hand or clenched in my teeth. lol

rolled out of bed, , take my echo overnight charged battery off charger, led blinks, then attached echomizer. nada, no lights, no vapor. switch batteries, and the other one led lights up, and vapors.
put other no led back on charger, green led is lit, ( fully charged?) take off, lights blink, but vapor.
fiddled with battery post, cleaned post= no led.
do not have a voltmeter, so unsure of charge.
juice got down and fried it?
now after unconnecting carto. led is staying lit but waving the battery, it goes out for awhile and comes back?
possessed or fried its the weekend and wants a break ?

when you say "after disconnecting the carto, light is staying lit"; did you try sucking through the battery with the carto disconnected? try it as tell us what the led does.

Sounds like a bit of moisture got on the diaphragm that controls the airflow switch. Surface tension. If it's just a bit of condensation from a heavy vape session, it may simply evaporate on it's own. A drop of juice may get a bit sticky. Leave a bit of excess alcohol around the threads when you wipe it. The evaporation may draw the moisture out. You can also suck and blow a few time to get the diphram moving and wipe and leave the alcohol to evaporate around the threads.

Hopefully that's all it is.

Well my adapter to adapter trick did not work for getting the echo-e to fire on less 1.75ohm carts (big suprise).
So any recommendations on the best deal for 2.0ohm or greater cartos? I'd like to get some decent ones for around a buck a peice or less (tank cartos even better). Otherwise, this echo-e gonna be collecting dust for awhile I guess.

Go for those boge 2.0ohms (for cheap) or the Riva tank from Cropduster (4.99). The riva tank is another one of those that took me by surprise. Had to take a break from it. It's a clearomizer so it shouldn't present you with the same problems cartos with filler have. Actually it a little too airy if it has a downfall.

Got a source recommendation for the boge 2.0s? The tank looks good for a nice price on cropduster's place, although I already got a tank from madvapes. Couldn't hurt to have two tanks I am sure, but need to take a break from the spending spree as of late hehe. It appears that tank you can't replace the cartomizer either? So more of a disposable tank I guess.

Yep, but you typically get triple the life out of a ce2 style over a cartomizer. It's got the coil at the top with two wicks that get juice to the coil instead of a cartomizer with filler.
Refillable Stainless 510 Cartomizers 2.0 ohm He's OOS on the black. Pretty sure an ego cone fits on the echo-e if you want a more streamlined look.

Hello startlifeEndlife,

1) Don't worry about wind. Not a problem at all. Echos will not miss fire from noise, wind vibration, or anything else you could possibly think of. They are entirely pocket friendly. Ego automatics on the otherhand used to, and may still, fire constantly from noise or wind. I am from Iowa, and see your in the windy city. Our winters are the same, and trust me the cold has no effect either. I can snowblow for 45minutes in 10* with no problems. That is even with it hanging from my mouth the whole time. I come inside with my beard encrusted in frozen snow from the blower still puffing away on my Echo.

You were absolutely correct Los Marauder, I vaped outside during what I call a "chicago micro blizzard" on the waters edge of lake Michigan at my University today and had absolutely no problem. In fact a smoker came up to me and started asking questions and while he was talking his cig blew out of his mouth and into the drink!

Nice job, Los Maurader!
Mountain Vapor has 808 clearomizers that hold .5ml and are perfect for juice tasting. Good luck.

Charlz were you recommending these for use on the Echo? If so they look like a good option for me. Easily cleanable between juice flavors or more of a one flavor thing? I've been dripping on a cheap set of joye 510s i picked up but they hit so much harsher than the echomizer im looking for something that will give me a closer idea of what the juice will be like in a fully broken in echo cartomizer..any suggestions or do i just have to keep using my imagination?

They are good for testing juice, but if you want to know how they will taste in a carto, I use 1ml 808 cartos. The filler does alter juice taste, even though an echomizer does a good job with flavor. I've flush cleaned one but they don't get heavy use so there really hasn't been a lot of need. They are a good alternative for those that got the new drip protected posts and have trouble with 901 atomizers and adapters. Takes about 10 drops of juice- enough to enjoy it if its good and also see if it loses flavor over a good vape session. Some juice does that for me. The vaping equivelant of fruit stripe gum, only I'm stuck having to vape it for a day in an echomizer if it should lose flavor.

Does a DCC take more juice from the batt than a SCC? Thought I had a dead carto because another carto worked fine on my batts but then both batts quickly died. I'm guessing the one that didn't work was DCC and the one that did was SCC. Make sense?

Looks like I'm gonna be getting a 1300 really soon! (For home use at least)

And thanks Charlz I think I will pick up both of those items and see what I like.

Twas definitely the battery, fully charged and working like a champ. my charging time on 650s with 150mA chager seems to be about 6 hours, Possibly closer to 5 as when i woke up i switched the charger from the wall to my laptop and when i plugged it into the laptop the red led on the charger came on but the led on my batt did not. After about 40 min from that time the charger led turned green.

Which one to trust more, led on batt or led on charger? [Charlz answered this question before, but doesn't specify if the battery is fully charged after the led on batt goes out, im curious thinking maybe the battery knows more about itself than the charger, I don't know how smart these things are though]

But more importantly is it healthier to leave the charger plugged into the same power source the whole time?

And finally, how bad is it to leave the 650 charging for 8 hours if its done at six? Does the green led on my charger mean that its cut off power to the battery?

(short nights sleep but i feel great...possibly vaped too much red bull with caffeine last night)
