took half the carto, but I was getting a little of that tell tale taste. So I was using the punch method to loosen and somehow the entire center post popped out the bottom, coil and all. So I managed to get it all back in the same way. This is good news for the rebuild. You can clean the coil and shove it back in from underneath. You need a tiny screwdriver to see all the wick goes it. Then you need to center the post as much as possible but when I screwed it on the battery, it popped back in place.
So we can do this now, without messing up the center air tube.
I'm thinking we can pop the whole thing out, put it in another base that we've taken the tube off and dry burn and put it back. So easy. Yes Cyrus, I know you want a video. I don't have the right equipment. I'll say it's tough a little making sure the base gets in without scrunching the silicon. But when it was centered right. It worked! I'm very happy, I've messed up a lot of air tubes so far. Now I won't.
Never did see if it was off center but there was a nice burn hole through the inner filler. I reversed it. It's golden now.
Still can't fix DCCs or stupid but it's a step forward for the single coils.
