Have had mine for about a week now, picked it up from the folks at Vapor Alley. Received it in three days. eGo-V Mega 1200 mAh . I’ll qualify by saying I’ve only been vaping for about 5 months, and have only used Kgo style batteries. One is a short 1100 mah and the other is a bit longer passthru 1000 mah. And I mostly only use vision clearomizers.

It took a little time to get use to the power button position. It's located on an extension of the top collar, which is narrower than the body. This is slightly different than the traditional eGo style. (gotta look close at the picture to pick up that detail). This makes me have to hold onto the device a bit higher. I really like the voltage buttons and the display (can even read it without my glasses). It has .1 increments and responds immediately. Don’t believe there is a lockout on the setting. Battery life seems good for all day (for me). I’m a moderate user at about 2.5 ml per day. I'd say compared to my other Kgos that the 1200 mah rating is accurate. The battery charges in about 2 hrs, it uses a different connection than my Kgo passthru, but it does come the correct USB charging cable needed.. The body is considerably fatter and longer than my other eGo styles, again just feels different. It will stand up on end, but not really fat enough that I could mindlessly pace in on the table while watching TV. It’s actually a little tipsy when stood up because of its height. However, it is sleek enough for me to slide into a coffee cup on my desk at work and handles well in my travels in the car. Love the light brushed stainless steel silver finish, very well done. Looks and feels like it cost more.

So all and all, I’m happy with the purchase. This is my first VV and I'm really enjoying the flexibility to tune in the voltage to whatever my taste is at the moment. I’m sure this is only going to be a “gateway battery” to bigger and more expensive things. (can you say Sigelei Zmax ?)

I bought one of these and got it in the mail yesterday. I'm loving it so far. :) I have a 1000mAh twist and a 400mAh spinner, but I love the fact that with this one I can see the battery level on the display. Plus reading & changing the voltage is clearer... I drive a lot for work, and trying to read/change the twist voltage is definitely a driving hazard!

FYI - you can lock the voltage setting by holding down the + and - buttons for 3 seconds.

I've been using the 650 mah passthru periodically for 6 months. Exclusively for 2 1/2 months. I don't vape on the go often so 1200 mah isn't too important but when I need to replace this one 1200 mah is the way to go. It holds the volts at where you set it until it flashes and you need to recharge. I had to ask a question of the manufacturing place about Passthrough. I asked if I used it plugged in all the time would it last forever or until it broke? The answer was no because it needs a chargeable battery to work and when the battery can no longer hold a charge it won't work. Just a little FYI thing in case you dumb about electronics like me. That plastic button is better than the silicone they tried. The silicone button was a good idea to keep dirt dust juice out of the button area. But it tends to tear eventually. Then they changed to the common plastic one

I have one of these also, in black. The black has a nice fit and finish as well, its kind of "non-slip". Its my first VV also, and I'm pretty pleased so far. The battery seems to last apropriately for being a 1200.

A little OT, but...I do really wish there were more anodized dressup goodies for the ego threads, so that there were colors other than black or chrome. Anodized aluminum under tank "thread hider" for example.

I've had one of these for a couple weeks now. Coming from a spinner type VV, these are great!! All of my equipment was bought for an ego style, so I was excited to find a VV passthrough that would work with all my stuff. I was even more excited to finally have a measurement on remaining battery power. By far the best feature.

As others have said it has a really good fit and finish. Nothing looks cheap or under thought out. The button has taken me some time to get used to. At first I thought it was sticking, but now I believe it just fades off instead of shutting off as soon as I let it go. I've actually come to see this as a feature as it reminds me to keep the puff going until the atty cools off.

I've put everything on here. Tanks, clearos, and cartos all perform as expected.

I have forgotten to charge it a couple of nights, and it lasts me all the way through the second day at work! On a single charge! After the second day I end up tied to a cord, though. :) Great thing about a passthrough is I don't have to dig out my other batteries.

Since I bought this one, I haven't used my twists or joytech batteries. I really like getting into the 5.5 range in the evenings. Typically 4.1 in the morning with a c4, 4.8 with a vivi by the time I leave work, and go to sleep almost maxed out with a vivi or tank.

It's worth noting that I have pulled the button assembly off in my pocket by mistake on all of my batteries except for this one. I'm hard on equipment at work, and this one has held up better than the joyetech and spinner batteries.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone. When mine dies, I'll be buying the same thing again.

If I could recommend an improvement, it would be a puff counter or resistance reader. Other than that, this thing is perfect!!!!!
