btw; 50ml a day is a lot of stuff to be going though your lungs. you go through a litre in less than a month

Now:
there is a relationship between battery capacity (mAh) and milliliters of liquid vaporized.
Fluids - Latent Heat of Evaporation

for specific latent heat of vaporization of eliquid I am going to use: 1,000 kJ/kg
which works out to 1kJ/g = 1kJ/ml = 1000 Wattseconds/ml = 1000/3600 Watthours/ml
= approx 0.3 Watthours per ml.

a 2000mAh cell contains about 8 Watthours of energy
so in theory 1 cell has enough energy to vaporize some 20 ml of liquid.

factor in efficiency (alot of heat is lost) a more realistic figure is about 5ml.

1 2000mAh battery will vape about 5ml.

In your case at 50ml per day you can expect to use some 10 batteries in a day.
Yea,Edyle, I'd guess more like a dozen to 14 18650s .... Because I lost my sense of smell about 15 years ago, I vape only straight VG diluted with water or a few drops of Vodka with no PG nor flavorings of any kind ... But even after a year I still need the visible clouds and the tactile handling of equipment to keep me off of analogs .... luckily I have even been off of liquid nic for the past 9 months ....

I'm retired and been vaping 18 months, subbing most of this year, mostly sitting here in my man cave. I'm using the Sig 150+, IPV mini 2, and IPV D2 topping them with multiple Atlantis v1's, sub and sub mini, Smok TFV4, and Herakles and recently add Herakles Plus. I run Sony VTC4's in the Sig and Sammy 25R's in the IPV's. But I switch up between mods and tanks so frequently each day it is impossible to gauge battery life or juice usage. Having a 4 bay charger, I usually wait until I have at least a couple to charge at a time. My "best guess" is I charge no more then 2 batteries a day (missing a few days each month) and go through around 10-15ml a day, give or take some. Probably not much help, FWIW.

I just ordered a couple of those Samsung 25Rs, 2500mAh, to use in my new kbox mini; so we'll see how well they last with my 9w/1.7Ω style of vaping. Any bets? I'll be interested to see who comes closest. :D

(and yes I realize that a 50w mod is way overkill for the way I vape -- it was only $21.59 so I figured a mod that uses external batteries is a good addition to my vapocalypse horde.)

20 to 22 hours of use (so well into the second day) when the battery is new.

I can beat that. I vape around 4.6 - 5.0 watts, my eVic VTC Mini will handle 75 watts. I'm using 6.7% of my mod's capabilities. :)

My 650mah Twist lasts me the entire day.
My single 18650 Chucks used to last me multiple days.

Some people vape a lot more than others.
:)

Jeez.. the only way I could get any useful life out of my 800mAh vv3s was to use them on pass-thru! Or take all 3 of 'em with me, if I went someplace. That was when I learned that I really preferred a battery that could last me all day long -- same when I used 2000 mAh IMRs in my Sigelei Zmax -- having to change batteries every 6 hrs, nah, that's a hassle.

Given the 20A of those 25Rs, I'm really hoping they'll be all-day batteries.

My 650 do not last :(
Even on my worst days I don't vape more than 2 milliliters.
Usually maybe around 1 milliliter.

Yeah, I don't vape much anymore.
Only when I'm drinking really, or dealing with a lot of stress.

But I do have a couple drinks after work every night.
A guy has to have SOME vices, right?

It's all dependant on how often you vape, and at what wattage. and coil resistance. Someone vaping a 1.2ohm coil at 30w is going to have to go much longer between recharges than someone vaping 200w on a .1 ohm or less coil. Battery life and almost anything vaping is a YMMV kind of deal. They aren't lying.. they just don't vape like you do.

I think so. If you get too pure, the Angel of Death will figure it's your time and come get you. :D

hi wattage low gauge wire and chain vaping will make a battery go low quickly

Im doing 30-40W 28Ga .8ohms on an IPV4 using about 3-4ml aday and I change out my batteries each morning... so basically my batteries are lasting 24 hrs... and have gone as far as 30-34 hrs before needing replacements.

I thought my batteries were not working well because they were getting old. I have a lot that I keep switching out.

Come to find out, when I started building lower ohm coils, that's when they 'seemed' to be going. DUH! on me.

Bumped my coils higher and I'm back to getting great life out of those same batteries

1.7 ohm
3.5v

The above is my happy vaping place. ;)

I vape ~4mL a day at 12W. Get 2.5 days from a HG LG2. Using a Reuleaux with those I'd get a week between charges.

Remember the slower you discharge a lithium battery the more capacity it has.

Thanks to all for these interesting responses ... as of 9am this morning I'm logging in each 5ml fill up to my Starre Freemax and sticking to just using an eleaf Istick 100 watter ..... I'll go until 9 am tomorrow and see exactly how many mls I'm using in 24 hours. Since I often wake up at night at odd hours I'm running the 24 hours straight through till morning ....

Medically retired here...spend my days riding a La-Z-Boy surfin' the waves of the internet and satellite television. The best I've done is about 12 hours with a Sigelei 150TC with brand new batteries. As the batteries aged, the amount of use between changings have gradually dropped. I'm now about 6-8 hours on a set, if I only use that one mod...which I don't. I've actually got three sitting on my side table with different tanks and juices in play, and rotate through them as the day progresses. Doing that allows me to go 2-3 days between battery changes.

Don't believe the hype about batteries lasting a certain time, because we all vape differently. My house is in a constant fog, but at least I'm off the smokes. My family makes comments, but they don't dare say anything bad, because they're proud of me for no longer smoking...they just turn on the fan and air out the room.

Maybe it's time I install an exhaust fan in the living room...??

Time is a terrible marker to try to gauge vape usage or life by, what should really be the marker is amount of juice vaped IMO as this will more accurately translate from person to person regardless of vaping style or how many days go by, the amount of juice vaped off one battery charge should be much better than stating "this mod and battery combination lasts me four days" when the reality is that person may only vape 3ml per day and 12ml total over four days while a different person with the same device may vape 12ml in 8 hours or less with the same battery charge.

I don't really chain vape any more, but I'm able to suck through a full 15ml of juice on my Lethal box(triple parallel 18650 unregulated) at 0.12 ohms before I need to change the batteries, I haven't had a day in a long time that I consumed more than 15ml and it's one of the only devices with which I am comfortable leaving the house for the entire day with no extra batteries.

True, but if you are inhaling like a commercial vacuum system, you are going to draw more juice than if you tootle puff no matter what. I know that when I vape...I'm going to grab some juice, or the cotton is coming out of the tank!

The first time my brother saw me vaping, I was hitting a Sigelei 150W at around 80W, chain vaping, and hitting it hard. He said that he thought he was in an {other stuff} den.
