Power in numbers.... The increase of anti e-cig/vaping is from the big tobacco company's... It's in their guides.. I see their bots attacking in numbers... means they are afraid. It's advised to go the grass roots movement and vape the FDA out! History has a tendency to repeat, but the internet is ruining their plans! Open the eyes and realize!

Comment tip: Take all the things you have issue with, and split them into separate comments. For instance, write one comment about your concern for your health if you go back to smoking, write one about the relative safety of e-cigs, one about the importance of access to different flavors, one about concern over the effect of premarket approval on small businesses, etc...

Even if you've already put all of these into your main comment, split them all up and write them again in new words, one by one. :D

US o' A
As of July 28, there were 50,890 comments received by FDA on the deeming proposal. Out of these 50,890 comments posted to the FDA docket, 45,313 are about cigars, and I can only find a little over 3,000 that have anything to do with ecigs. The rest are probably comments with attachments, that do not mention search terms in the main comment box. With some prior data I collected thru some random sampling, I found that the ecig related comments come in about a 5-2 ANTZ to pro-vaping ratio. This means there are only around 1,200 comments in support of vaping 8-o (2,230 under the best assumptions). In any case, if there are a few million vapers in the US, their complacency is very disconcerting.

I honestly don't get it..

It's really easy, and only takes a few minutes of somebody's time..

Put down the Kanthal.. Shut off the YouTube.. And get writing, people!

I guess some of us will have to make up for others' lack of interest -- both in terms of quality & quantity.. ;)

Just put in my second comment moments ago. I actually had someone at work today tell me that vaping was more harmful for you than cigarettes for the first time ever. We spent a good 10 minutes or so discussing why he thought vaping was more harmful and then I proceeded to explain to him how cigarettes were far more harmful and at the end he decided that he would be looking into getting his own APV. I sincerely hope that the FDA doesn't mess with opportunities such as this.

A gentle bump :)

I just saw this elsewhere and it reminded me of our struggle:

"The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering."
