Well, I have heard NOTHING good about this RBA. I ordered it, and couldn't use it, yet. Which brings me to my first negative, neither the ego twist, nor the vision spinner would fire this atty. the positive post is too recessed. So, I ordered the lava dude vv 4.0.
First thing I had to do to this atty. Apparently QC isn't important wherever this was made in china. Had metal shavings, and plastic bits inside. After watching the 2 reviews that are in English, and the overall condition it was in right out of the box, I decided I had to take it apart.
The air draw was almost none existent. After careful inspection one of the intake holes was half blocked by the bottom insulator. So, I cut it down.
While taking it apart I noticed white marks on the bottom of the coil and mesh wick. Turns out it was the top insulator wasn't seated in all the way and the coil and wick were set right on top of it. Seems they may have dry fired it at the sweatshop, I mean factory and it just melted. So, I trimmed that down to be slightly recessed. After assembly, and overall cleaning, I wrapped a good micro coil at 1.4 (the Lambo 4.0 won't fire anything under 1.3???) Anyway, went with a cotton wick as the slots that the wick fit into are a bit too narrow for a good mesh wick.
There was a silly "seal" around the coiled chamber? Head? (Whatever) the cap. Got rid of that, what's it going to seal with two slots cut into it for the wick??? After priming the wick and decided to lay a thin layer of cotton over the top for good measure, screwed the cap on, filled the tank with some tasty Mai Tai juice, screwed it on the Lambo and crossed my fingers. In desperate hopes I didn't waste $35 on a pretty piece of sh, well you know... Set my voltage to 3.7, and vape. Holy wooooof!!!! Vaper perfection! This thing isn't called the Fogger for nothing.
My overall opinion? Out of the box it is a pretty piece of junk. After a little quality control work and some ingenuity, top notch vapor. Flavor is superb, throat hit is solid, and and draw is smooth. Total thumbs up from me. I recommend trying it out for yourself...
Thanks for reading, and vape on...
