I'm thinking of buying a Galileo and have a question, specifically regarding the center pin in the top cap. Is it adjustable? It looks like a screw that can be moved in/out. I have seen some videos where it looks like the atty adaptor sits high, and others where it appears to sit lower. I'm assuming that center screw can be moved up or down to make the atty adaptor sit higher or lower. Can someone provide information on this? It looks like a big plus if that's the way it works. Thank you.

Thanks AG. I have a GTUS on the way and wanted to make sure I can adjust the Galileo to get the atty flush with the cap. Sounds like that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, the screw is adjustable, but that does not mean it will allow to have a lower profile on the atomizer adapter, it totally depends ond the adapter.

For example, the 510 adapter allways will rise above the top edge of the Galileo top cap, so there will be a gap between the atty and the Galileo (The Galileo uses 901->510, 401, etc. as adapters).

Because the adapter sits inside the top cap, the adjustable screw makes contact to the center pin of the adapter, not directly to the center pin of the atomizer.

I modified mine since I only use 510 attys, I have replaced the screw and the plastic nut for a stainless steel screw:

Sanded the 510 adapter to the proper size so it will not rise over the top cap.

Removed the 510 adapter center pin and added an O-ring on the botton of it.

Used a piece of platic tube (I took it from inside a deororant spray can) that goes from the 510 adapter (inside the O-Ring) to the buttom of the top cap, through the hole where the plastic nut screwed.

Used a stainless steel screw instead the original one, it goes from the bottom through the plastic tube and the 510 adapter. It allows direct conection between the battery and the atty. Under the head of the screw I used a stainless steel washer and an O-Ring as isolation.

The result is a adjustable center pin, so first I install the atty on the 510 adapter, then I screw the Galileo top cap on de body.

The moded 510 adapter:

My Galileo finally arrived!! I haven't charged the 18350 battery yet so am using a 14500. So far, so good... it seems to be feeding the atomizer which I thought would be the biggest fidget point. It's much simpler when you have it in your hands than it appeared on the video or in pictures so am greatly relieved.

I'm surprised that these aren't more popular around these parts. I'm guessing in part due to the lack of information about them in English.

Have to ask, which battery configurations do you all use? I tend toward 5v vaping and need to place a battery order. I'm going to try to look through the threads but if you know whats working/not working please lmk.

Thanks for all the help guys and a Happy Holiday to You!!

Hey all. Can't find much information in english for this mod, and I just got one off the classys.
It works fine, but not in JUIS mode. I can't get it to fire. It will every great now and then, but not often enough to want to use it.
I have an i06 attached and I've tried 18650, 18490, 2 16340s for the heck of it and it just won't fire.
I believe I have the adapter fully seated.
Any clues what I'm doing wrong?

I'd say to clean all the threads and connections.
Install the batteries with the flat end toward the juis.

It arrived pretty darn clean, and I have tried turning the batteries around.
I'll give it another once over and post again.
Thanks.
