I've not been active lately due to my son having standardized tests coming up. And I return to this...
You know, you don't think to tell someone how much they're appreciated until they're not around to tell. I rarely leave comments on videos or on profile pages. I never really know what to say and who wants to hear from me anyway. I found a couple of her videos before I joined here, but didn't really pay attention to the fact they were Volt reviews. I had no idea what
vaping was or how it worked and they were simple explanations. After I had finally purchased my Volt, I found all her videos here and watched them all. I still watch them from time to time to make sure I'm cleaning my batteries right or whatnot.
I never left a comment or told her how much her videos helped me. I'm definitely not an engineer and I don't understand most of this stuff. Her videos were simple. Liquid goes in, screw it together, vapor comes out. She didn't get so technical that the layman couldn't understand and she also never assumed that you had any kind of prior knowledge coming into her videos. Even so far as to show, for example, plugging the charger into the wall. Most people would know that, but I appreciate that she didn't make that assumption. Too many reviews or how-to videos seem like they are missing a step, assuming that you already know this or that.
I'm not sure exactly what happened, but it truly sickens me that it did happen. What I wouldn't give for to get my hands on some email addresses, screen names - or better yet IP and ISP information. I wouldn't back down, but that's because I have no life really outside the internet (I completely understand why she left and in no way think less of her for doing so), so I consider this my home. And no one messes with people in my home without a fight.
