I'm wondering if the heads are coil and wick. If that's the case, I'm finding it all depends on the juice. I have one juice that I use that gunks up coils quickly no matter when atomizer I use. I have to rebuild daily if I use that juice whether it's a Protank or my Sophias and even in cartos I'd have to change the carto after a tank.

I just placed an order last night for some 28 and 30 gauge wire, silica, mesh, and a few other goodies. I found some organic cotton locally. I find the coils gunk up real quick and the juice starts tasting real raunchy. I have 2 Protank mini 2 V2 and a Nautilus aspire. It's like you get 2-3 tanks and the flavor goes down hill real fast. You don't seem to get much time of the coil heads.

I was going to try one of those IGO-L drippers but the place I ordered from didn't have any. They did have the Trident V2 I grabbed with my order.

In the future, right click on the image and there should be a "search google for this image" (if you are using chrome) the image it brings up is usable with photoshop. It's the only quick workaround I've found with signatures and avatars on this forum.

Note to self, don't try to edit avatars and sigs at 1am. Don't think so well at that time of day.

My friend is too low maintenance for rebuilding. I haven't so much as looked at anything else in a long time. Anyone able to recommend anything with good VTF that's not a rebuildable?

I got a couple of ProTank2's while I am awaiting more Sophias. They are not worth rebuilding IMO, so I just been swapping out heads as needed. No issues with them, even on a ProVari. But you friend could also get an AeroBase if airflow is an issue.

if I may, I have a question for my fellow provarinatis... I was reading around and stumbled upon some fierce discussion about what resistance is optimal for use on my precious, coincidentally, today I ended up wrapping closer to 3 ohm, I normally shoot for 1.5 - 2.0. I must say i'm rather enjoying it at 5v.

So, the question is for those of you that use RDA's... what resistance do you normally go for? and at what voltage?
Also, will I see longer battery life going from 1.4 at 4.3v Vs 3.0 at 5v?

I usually go 2.5-3.0 ohms at 4-4.2 volts depending on the juice.

I'm using FireFox, is all good.

I'm on Chrome.

I don't know what VTF is, but the Kanger Areo tank is well liked.

I still fill up a ProTank here and there - but for best performance
a) I pull ONE strand of wick out of the stock coil (use 50/50 juice, and I don't get any leaking)
I've found I don't even have to pop the tube off - I just carefully grab a bit from the side of the coil with tweezers and pull it out.
b) Safest to have an Aerotank base for it - especially if it's going on a ProVari

I've got a few Aero tank bases now that I put on my ProTanks but before I found them in stock, I discovered that by folding a small piece of paper a couple of times and screwing the ProTank down with the paper between the unit and the tank, it worked a treat and was free. I only wish I had discovered that trick sooner.

I did! I wanted a "Kayfun Cone" - the slightly slanted ProVari ring that's been out of stock at VapeRev for 6 months and is too small an order to warrant postage from Greece. And I got an offer to sell at a very reasonable price - someone had 2 of them.

(of COURSE, VapeRev got some that SAME day - then sold out again. LOL - I probably would've missed it and the classified one was perfect anyway).

I think it depends what you want - some stuff, people just sit on, and would sell if they knew there was a buyer.
I don't think you're gonna find a MicroStick that way though....
