Anybody have this mod? Looks pretty nice compared to the plastic version they first released...

Here is the Pbusardo review on the plastic Groove.

Here is the new stainless version, they come in various colors as well.

"This is a variable volt, variable watt mod. The Groove adjusts from 3.0 to 6.0 Volts in .1 volt increments or 3.0 to 15 Watts in .5 Watt increments and has a cool backlit OLED display. The Groove has a maximum output of 5 Amps. The Groove can read your output voltage, battery voltage and cartomizer / atomizer resistance. This mod does it all.
The 510 connector will accept any 510 tank, atomizer or cartomizer and has a channel around the 510 connector so you can use 510 eGo style cartomizers or tanks. With the power of varaible volt you can use almost any 510 tank or carto you have.
There are ample vent holes in the side of this APV for added safety.
The groove has an internal 3.7V, 3800mAh Li-polymer battery that lasts far beyond most other batteries. Included with the APV are a mini USB to USB cable for charging with a computer and a USB to AC adapter for charging with a wall outlet. The Groove cannot be used while it is being recharged.
The button on the top of the Groove can turn the device on and off with 5 quick pushes. Read the resistance of your cartomizer or tank by holding the "+" button for 3 seconds. Easily adjust Voltage or Wattage by using the "+" or "-" button. Hold down the "+" and "-" buttons together for 3 seconds to switch between Voltage and Wattage. Output Voltage or Wattage is displayed when you press down the top button. Battery Voltage is displayed by pressing the "-" button for 3 seconds.
The Groove only needs a 510 style tank, cartomizer, CE4 and some e-liquid and it is a complete ready to go unit with nothing else to buy!"

Wow, this may be a deal killer for me. Between this and the Sigelei TeleZmax v3 ... Hmmmm. Any thoughts?

I have the ZMax V3. Overall, it's an OK mod. I use it intermittently throughout the day. It takes my Evods without any issues, is well built, but I just dislike the one button menu system. To check resistance you have to press the button about six times and then wait a few seconds, press it again and it will then read the resistance. You will then have to recycle through the menu system to change the reading to V or W. It will not fire or read anything 1.4ohms or lower. If you have an RDA on which you need to check the resistance, you're out of luck if it's a lower-ohm built atty.

I just lay mine down flat without any issues. I use a Protank with it so it doesn't leak.:) I'm glad I didn't see PBsuardo's review before I bought mine. I bought the plastic one and haven't had any of the button sticking probs he had. I like it way better than the MVP which broke after dropping it. I've dropped the Groove several times and never had a problem. The only negative thing I agree with him is it is a fingerprint magnet.

Here is my unit. I have to say I love it. I have gone 45 hours between charges. I love when I want more flavor I just dial up the volts or wattage. It's simple press 5 times to turn on or turn off. Doesn't go off in my jeans pocket. Yea it's a fingerprint magnet and a bit flashy
I had a few females come up to me to see what I am using (can't complain about that) My only down fault is the tank doesn't last 45 hours without changing the guts and of course refilling the tank. But that's the tank's issue and not the "Groove"

All and All a very solid unit. I know from experience with batteries. Use the thing till it is dead DOA- THEN do a full non-stop recharge and
you will get the max of of the battery. At 45 hours - that is going to be a long time down the road. I bet I won't need another for at lease a year from now. So cost wise of dispose batterys, I got back my money and then some. And HELL this think is so solid I bet it could take a lot of dropping and other abuse.

You do realize that this has been recalled? Sticked at the top of the forums. Look up.
