Ok, People,
The Weirdest thing is happening, i haven't touched a real cigarette for weeks now, at least since my last post here.
Skin is looking better, stronger nails and hell hair is looking better.

I used to have good hair up until 21, that is when i became a regular smoker, wight about time i started loosing hair at the front of my head, now i looked closely in the mirror, and i can see new hairs starting to grow, i swear i am not delusional.

Did anyone else experience that since they quit smoking?

P.S I can't create a thread anywhere else, so i only could create one here, in this section.

LOL the Marine Corp took all my hair at 18 years of age I was PIS$#@ to say the least, I was gonna be the next Eddy Van Halen, Or so I thought. 18 year career I learned to live without that hair and now at 48 I still keep it high and tight to this day. Its been receding or running away from my face one or the other. I cant say I have noticed any new growth, but I haven't been looking.

Yes, I think my hair is growing fast. I also think it's pretty obvious how unhealthy we all were.
My skin is generally nice, but since I quit, the zits are horrible. People call them "quit zits".
I was zit free for so long so this is extremely distressing to me.

I tried, I should say, accidentally got the wrong menthol in my last order. I got 150ml of it to make matters worse.
I tried it and its gross. So, I re-ordered my usual Dekang menthol that I love.
Funny thing is, since I've been mixing and smoking the wrong menthol my face is cleared !
Now, I have 3 more of bottles of the correct menthol that arrived and I'm afraid to go back on it for fear of zits.
It's coincidence? maybe, maybe not. Time will tell.

But the hair, mine quit growing ever since I smoked, which was all my life. Now that I am smoke free, the hair seems
to be growing by leaps and bounds. Perhaps I'll get that long girly hair that I've always wanted.
Regards ~Barbara~

Yep, that is the thing. Is started balding only at the front, sides and back of the head mostly remained covered. Now little hairs are starting to grow at front that i have never seen. And frankly i am delighted. I think it has something to do to body not having to clean out the garbage from the cigarette smoke and toxins, plus the improved blood flow.

quitting smoking increases your blood O2 levels- more O2 means healthier everything! Since quitting the tobacco I grow hair everywhere except my head... male pattern baldness doesn't care if I smoke or not. them follicles ain't growing back. <shrug>

Zits mean your pores are being blocked. Try washing your face (assuming it's the face...) with just hot water and a soft washcloth, no scrubbing- gentle is better. The idea is that you loosen the blockage with the heat of the water, try to stay away from harsh cleansers or makeup or moisturizers for a bit. Your skin knows what to do.
