I was just wondering when was/is the hardest time for you to not have an analog? When I finally made the switch over I was thinking of all times where I may not make it with vaping alone. Sitting around the house puffing on a PV like a pacifier is one thing, but something like work is another thing all together.

I have been vaping for 3 weeks now and I have to say I was surprised that everything I thought would be hard, was not. However, when I go fishing I still can’t get over not smoking. I am heavy into fly fishing and fish as much as I can. I used to stand in the river with a smoke in my mouth constantly, and always had to have a smoke after bringing in the big one. I was just out fishing the other day and I still wanted an analog:cry:.

So I was wondering, what is or was your hardest time to not have an analog?

I'm only a few days in, but so far the toughest part was not going outside 10-12x/day. It is my few moments away from the kids (I'm a stay at home/work at home mama). I finally realized that I still need to go outside to decompress, it's just that now I vape instead of smoke.

Problem solved.

Ya I found this a bit of an issue myself. I liked it when I was at work and would sneak off for a 5 min brake, and have a smoke where no one could see or find me.:vapor:

Eeek, hadn't considered fishing yet, I always loved a smoke when fishing but haven't been in the last few weeks so it never crossed my mind. I think I'll need to get a weak or 0 nic juice so I can puff away to my hearts content. The analogues were great for keeping the flies away too, I wonder how well PG/VG will work for that :)

One huge benefit though will be no more butts, I always hate seeing butts on the river bank so I'd always keep mine in an empty pack which would stink. Also, the chemicals left behind in butts are supposedly lethal to fish, even just a few butts can apparantly pollute a large amount of water, so vaping will be better for us and for the fish too :)

I had to take a whole day to clean out my fishing vest and run it through the washer twice. I found about 2 packs of butts in all my pockets (every time I finnished a smoke I would unzip a pocket and through it in). The big problem is DO NOT drop your PV. I have droped many cigs in the water by accident (picked them up of course), and had to light a new one. If I drop my PV, good by PV:facepalm:.

You can always get an automatic 510 battery for when you can't use your hands, like when you're fishing. Keeping flies away is a problem. Maybe you can find some citronella e-juice. :)

The hardest time for me is when no one is around to keep me honest. I'm sitting in a hotel room all alone at the moment...first time I reserved a non-smoking room in 30 years. It feels so weird. hahah

Also, when I am smoking a cigar. I figure I am going to be stinky anyway, might as well add a cig or two.

Fortunately, I think cigs taste like a cat's ... now. Unfortunately, I think cigars do too, since quitting cigs. I have quite a collection of excellent/expensive cigars that I may have to give away. :(
