It says in the instruction not to blow into the 357 through the mouth piece.
What will happen if i do? I heard it will break the pump mechanism... what does the mean?
What are signs of a broken 357 cause from blowing?

Many thanks in advance.

Blowing straight into it is alot more force than through the connector end, you can risk messing up something internally and it wouldnt work properly afterwards. It's listed in the directions so people don't do this, so if you do then they can't say they didn't tell you so.

I absolutely love my 1.5 HH357 on my REO grand now at 48 hours of heavy use. The spitting stopped completely late yesterday, which is a great relief.

Does anyone find they are using less juice with it? I'd say so far 1/3 less juice than with a standard 1.5 Cisco 306 for me.

I vape about 7 solid vaping hours a day And only go through about 6 ml of juice. I think they start to make juice last longer once they break in, I can get a decent amount of good hits in before needing to top up, and it doesn't leak on me unless I overdrip by mistake

Glad the spitting stop, first couple days it gets used to firing and then everything settles into place and the flavor and throat hit kick up a tad

I am using a 2.0 HH357 on my REO Grand but I can't seem to get it right. Its either giving me dry hits or flooding to the point of spitting up juice into my mouth. If I run out of juice and I drip - it works great but I just can't get the feeding to work right. It seems like my drip tip is always wet on the inside - I'm back to walking around with paper towels :( any advice before I give up?

How long have you been using it? It does have a break in period. If you have an old atty around take out the bridge and temporarily install it into the HH357 to avoid the spitting. Mine stopped spitting around 48 hours in using it exclusively.

What is happening in your catch cup? Mine almost never has ejuice in it when working right. I squonk until I get a visual and even when it did spit I usually got great flavor and vapor along with the lip blisters. It takes a huge extended squonk to get any volume in the cup.

I'd give the REO a good vodka cleaning and maybe not screw the atty on so tight. Sorry it's not working well for you. Maybe it is faulty and the folks at Avid can help you.

Update on my 1.5 HH.357 - Still working great on Day 8. Today I cleaned it for the first time with a PGA soak blow out from bottom, a slight scrapping of the coil with a plastic Dentek plastic tooth pick to lift the charred juice build-up, another soak, blow out from bottom, and I can see the coil again. It was vaping fine before cleaning and still vaping fine afterward. I just cleaned it because I'm used to doing 306 1.5s every few days.

Still very happy with it and as long as it keeps vaping well for another week, I'll consider it a bargain low maintenance atty.

Has anyone used the 3.0 ohm version? I ordered one for my V3.1 6V mod, so hopefully thats a good impedence (resistance) for it? Hopefully it isnt too resistive to give me lame hits. The atomizer that came with my Prodigy is supposedly 3.2 ohms and Im loving it. It's absolutely perfectly in terms of flavor and vapor. I didnt know that 6v would make flavors so much better. Especially menthols. i used to get burny taste after a few hits of a menthol dripping but now it's rock solid stable every time i drag on it in terms of the flavor. Did I make an okay choice for the resistance?

sweet thnks. Ya, the 3.2 ohm atty that came with my pv is almost perfect and if this thing is going to last as long as many people say it does AND produces more vapor? Thatll be awesome.
BTW, love the profile pic vaorologist. I love borat
There is a learning curve for how to use the .357 properly. But once you get it down, it really rocks imo. Let us know your thoughts after you break it in.

Oh, and I love your profile pic, too... :)

Jessica at Avid send me an email and really went that extra mile: They will send a free HH.357 and pay for the upgrade to express international shipping when I place another order.to compensate my lost order. So I did and ordered 2 x HH.357's (2.5 and a 3.0) along with the 1.5 ohm, some adapters etc, now that is the customer service I was looking for!!!

So far I've been using the HH.357 on my REO grand for a little over a week. Most of the spitting stopped and when I drip the vapor and flavor are insane. Thats part of the reason I haven't gone back to regular LR attys - but Squonking correctly without overflooding is near impossible for me...

Sorry to hear that. Mine is much better behaved. I squonk until I just see it around the holes in the catch cup and it's pretty near perfect every time. I haven't had juice overflow in the catch cup or on my hands since I put this atty on my Grand 2 weeks ago yesterday. Using all types of eliquids 50/50 to 70/30.

Sounds like yours might have a flow problem. Do you always blow it out from the bottom? Just letting you know there are good ones, so maybe they can replace it for you.

I squonk until I see the juice too and the next hit is dry or badly flavored. Then I squonk again till I see the juice and I think that does it. It might be slightly overfilled at that point but not too bad. I end up needing to take off the drip tip and dry out the inside of it bec it usually gets very wet with juice and at some point it enters my mouth if I don't dry it out...
