I have been out this week. It would take too long to explain, so I won't! I won't burden you guys with it, but it has to do with my son and Mother's Day. That's all fixed so we're moving right along.
Found a new Christian movie on Netflix called 'Persecuted.' It's about how Congress was pushing for a 'one world religion, and I found it quite good, if anyone wants to see it. There are some very familiar names in it, and it just goes to show that God is working behind the scenes even when we can't see it. Definitely recommend.
Something else I watched was a special on 'the Holy Grail.' As I was watching it, I kept shaking my head going 'what???!!!!' People HONESTLY believe if they find the Grail, they can be healed and have all kinds of powers. They even connected the Celtics to it!
But in my honest opinion is 'it's just a cup that was possibly utilized by Jesus at the Last Supper. COME ON FOLKS!! How in the Wide World of Sports does that do ANYTHING for man. They further said that it was used as a container to catch the blood of Jesus on the cross. I don't remember anything in Scripture stating that! Why would that be a greater find than the platter holding the unleavened bread?
My biggest problem was that no one talked about accepting Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. That is more precious than any object found on earth. It boggles my mind! It goes back to 'working yourself into heaven.' I pretty much laughed at it and deleted it out of my que. One family in England think they have a part of it.....a half of a wooden bowl! That makes more sense to me than the gaudy ones. She was talking about the burden of her family for generations, protecting it. She was not on camera, but it did show the half bowl. Still, it was just a receptacle to hold liquids or food. It's amazing what people want to believe that has nothing to do with the salvation of the soul. How very sad.
