Please take note: According to a Glass SME, Pyrex is not to be used as it can be dangerous in this kind of setup, but fused Quartz is ok.

It looks like you are correct:

"The outstanding characteristic of silica (fused quartz) glass is its very high degree of purity (99.99% SiO2). It also has excellent thermal properties with an extremely low coefficient of expansion 0.55 x 106cm/cm°C (0-300°C). This makes the material particularly useful for optical flats & furnace windows, where its minimal sensitivity to thermal changes is of benefit. Another related property is its high resistance to thermal shock. Thin sections can be heated and cooled rapidly without cracking. Some technical references report, heating the material to 1100°C, then plunging into cold water with no adverse effects."

Well, finally caught up! Happy Turkey Day!!! Lots of stuff to do today on little to no sleep due to the fact I'm still at work lol. 3 houses to feast at is gonna be torture but who's complaining?

Still no tanks for my iHy. SO sad. I wanted to show it off to all my family but looks like it's gonna be did/vari for the time being.

I took the SW apart and put it back together its reading out to 3.6v on a fresh bat so better but still something wonky going on.

Need to get me a F-atty to top off the provari. That's gonna be sweet. Lots of cool stuff to get hands on soon.

Well, anyways just figured I'd post so no one thought I died. Have fun today with your families!!

Awesome! I thought I was the only vaper in the area. I live in Newgate behind the Giant on stone road. Makes me feel better about getting a Hybrid/Genisis style atty without any experience with RBAs lol.

Hi Tanks and welcome to the Forum! (And welcome to anyone else that new and I missed you, sorry :() You will catch on very fast, Tanks...most people do. Now, "I", on the other hand, am still in the pits of the "learning curve" LOL. But so many people are helping me.

Face that aluminum anodize sleeve sounds awesome. Wonder why scuba didn't think of that lol

LOL Chief...give it time. Someone will say they did, eh?

so in your pic, the tube does not go inside the chamber but is just sitting on the outside correct?
shai, I would love to hear more about your new setups. :)

Me too, ob. And pics would be great!

Just got the pic, my Sagewood custom for the Red Dragon is complete:w00t:

I did not waist any cash, got a free sample. Now I will find some Quartz with the right dimensions and then try it. It might very well be a new ERA for vaping, will see......

I will fined ur result when u will try it and will see it's safe and the right way to use it will tell me . I wish it will work fine .
