I know there are a few enthusiasts in here. I just picked up a S&W M&P .40c.
Complete with trijicon sights, crimson trace grip, and a rail mounted tac light. The light won't fit in the holster so it won't get much use.

Nice piece! I myself have been wanting to pick up a springfield xd subcompact in .40sw. Such a tiny cannon :D

Gray,GA.
so in your pic, the tube does not go inside the chamber but is just sitting on the outside correct?

shai, I would love to hear more about your new setups. :)

yea it is out of the tank, got greedy last night and upped the amperage. I was running stacked to 7.4volts on roughstack and fractured the coil. I eas trying to see if it would spool up faster with the increase in volts, and popped it. Should have left it alone. Anyway, this is just a start, and not a decent glass tube anyway. I'm satisfied enough to know this has awesome capabilities. Looking forward to emonty's opinion when he receives his tubes.

Faceless the anodized idea is great, I think heat transferrence is going to be an issue, but can be figured out with a little testing. And yes this is going to work out for Ihy or any lower voltage device. We may even be able to drop to 26g wraps and resistance tape for atomizaton. If the coil ohm's out at 1.5 or lower, we should be pushing ample amp's to get it going. I put my 1.8 ohm wrap on a 3.7v device with a fresh battery and although it started slow, when it got up to operating temp's it was blowing steam.

Anyway, gotta get away from all things vaping or I might get stuffed with the turkey. Y'all have a wonderful holiday.

Thanks. I happened upon it by chance. I couldn't pass up the price. Pretty much bought the grips and got a new never fired piece. It has a tiny bit if holster wear on the slide very minimal . Looks like the holster just rubbed the oil off tbh. I had to readjust the laser sight a little but overall I couldn't be happier. Fits on my hip with minimal bulge to my vest and with a jacket on it disappears. Not really trying to hide it but not sticking it out there for people unaccustomed to fire arms to have a cow over.

Well, finally caught up! Happy Turkey Day!!! Lots of stuff to do today on little to no sleep due to the fact I'm still at work lol. 3 houses to feast at is gonna be torture but who's complaining?

Still no tanks for my iHy. SO sad. I wanted to show it off to all my family but looks like it's gonna be did/vari for the time being.

I took the SW apart and put it back together its reading out to 3.6v on a fresh bat so better but still something wonky going on.

Need to get me a F-atty to top off the provari. That's gonna be sweet. Lots of cool stuff to get hands on soon.

Well, anyways just figured I'd post so no one thought I died. Have fun today with your families!!

I ordered 2 Glass tanks and a SS tank when mine broke, If I get them soon I will send you one till you get yours. I cleaned out my tank last night and just ran HOT water into the fill hole and then shook the water out, did that 3 times and dry burned than set up and ready to go with new juice. I also am not removing the tank till I have spares, LOL.

Me too, ob. And pics would be great!

Very beautiful!!

Good morning folks. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I don't have to cook this year...that's the beauty of grown children sometimes! I'll be in and out...♥

you too Lady ;) pics of my current 'Ti' set-up I'll take later...I popped one strand of my twisted 32 coil yesterday, and 'peter k' wrapped a 30ga to replace it (much better vape IMO) my solid 50/50 325/400 mesh wick was made up with unrolled 'zen' wicks as I had no other mesh to use at the time (1/3 my wicks now used in it hehe)....works well though ;) 4 tanks through it so far with NO caramelizing and wicking 80/20 vg/pg like a champ while chain-vaping

I am sitting here, thankful to have been introduced to vaping. I honestly believe it has/will extend my life. Further, I am thankful to have found Faceless and the iHybrid. I don't think I would have gone back to the stinkies without it, but my vaping life is definitely enhanced by it. AND, I am thankful to have found a community, folks that I feel comfortable calling friends, even though I've not actually met any of you. I guess I said all that, to say this...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, HYBREEDS!

Aluminum is a pretty dirty metal. Not sure I'd want it in a position to be in direct contact with my juice or in my atomizer. Also when heated it gives an off taste, I thought there was a reason SS was used for the tank/ atty half of the iHybrid.
Just my .02$

thats why I said anodize it :)

what about titanium?

Happy thanksgiving!!!

Beings they use Ti in surgical implants as well as high grade SS it should be safer than aluminum. I believe you could cut Ti thin enough for good thermal transfer. Will still have to figure out how to reduce conductivity enough to use as an insulator. All in all I believe you're onto something.

anodizing kills conductivity
