Quick noob question about wick set up. whats a good first wick set up? I was thinking 30g kanthal and mesh 400.

Would this kanthal work? Kanthal A1 wire 30 Gauge 25 FT (0.1oz) Resistance Resistor AWG A-1 | eBay

Where can I get mesh? And how large of a piece of mesh should I be working with when rolling?

I see the numbers 3/4 and 4/5 being thrown around alot when reading up on wick set ups. What do these numbers mean?

If you check the iHybrid Reference Links, starting at Line #161, there are several vendors for mesh. Also, on Lines 7 & 8 there is some good info on setting up your first wick and coil.

I don't care for 'straw' wicks as well, they cause over-wicking and my personal experiences with mesh this past year of using rba's, I've found to the contrary of others... for me, the tighter the mesh (400 vs 325), the slower it wicks for thicker juices and I get way more dry hits because I constantly chain-vape...

CHAIN VAPING.....ALL RIGHT! That's what i've been getting slower wicking w/the tighter mesh.

Thats the setup I'm using Heres where I got my wire, it's 100feet for a couple bucks more than the 25feet on your link.

Well dragon rocks 30awg 4 wraps I am still not getting all the flavor but its getting there. Couple tips. After burning wick for 10 min. on the torch dont grab the tip. Owwww. Dont put the ihy on you stomach to steady it with a open switch accidental firing sucks when building a coil. Lol I am a f..ing idiot some times. Lol
