I have another question that is simple yet I can't seem to figure it out. When talking about coils i see #/# (ex., 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, etc..) what does it mean? If you split the wick/coil down the middle would a 2/3 coil (bare with me what I'm trying to say is difficult for me to put into words) be 3 loops but on one side of the wick you see the coil loop twice and the other side you see it 3 times? That's all I can come up with because with the positive and negative leads you can't really have 3, 4, or 5 full loops. (unless, to get 5 loops, you make 6 loops. 5/6?)

This is something that is simple and I think would be important for someone like me who is just starting with RBAs.

I need an Atty worthy enough to sit on my new Caravela... :) Opinions? Hellfire Mega, FoggAtti, AC9, iHybrid Atty??

Well a ZAU looks the best but I kind of prefer the Bliss's even though the O/D is a little off. Fogatti looks and vapes pretty good too. Not sure about the AC9. Probably the iHybrid atty will be the best since it's literally made for it.

Just a word of caution on the Caravela. It's the one design "error" I don't like about them. I think you got one with a brass locking ring and SS collar or the other way around. Some people have had the brass to SS threading strip a little. It's not a common problem but becareful with it. That being said I really never lock mine since they stand with a full tank in 18650 mode so there isn't much of a reason except at night etc.

That is it exactly Tanks, in a 3/4 you will see 4 on the front and 3 on the back

My SS mesh came in today. I cut a piece and rolled it up, Gonna go get a torch tomorrow. Hope I guessed the size right. I know it's more then likely to long I used 3"x 2" 3" being length.
yeah that will be to long... the length is around 1.75-1.85 depending on how you like to seat your wick... i do a 3x2 wick but use 3 as the width :)

Can someone please tell me how to put pics up. I put something in the classies and cannot get a pic up.

In the classifieds (when you are creating the post), there is a section at the bottom that says "manage attachments" click on that and upload your photos from your computer.

I have been using Blaines method. Roll the wick and put some juice on it. Burn the juice off 4 or 5 times with a lighter. Works good for me. I got my Blue Dragon going today. First coil too. Its not perfect but Im loving the Pluid in it!! Yesterday was a different story. Sometimes it sucks and other days everything works.

Quick noob question about wick set up. whats a good first wick set up? I was thinking 30g kanthal and mesh 400.

Would this kanthal work? Kanthal A1 wire 30 Gauge 25 FT (0.1oz) Resistance Resistor AWG A-1 | eBay

Where can I get mesh? And how large of a piece of mesh should I be working with when rolling?

I see the numbers 3/4 and 4/5 being thrown around alot when reading up on wick set ups. What do these numbers mean?

Thanks for the input

30g and 400 and you're good to go.

3/4 or 4/5 is a way to describe how many coils of kanthal is being coiled on the wick. 3 on one side 4 on the other.

Hope that helps!
