If all fails and you're okay at your wattage, try making a better wick before upping resistance.

Recommend a wick in wick or fatty wick (3+ inches of mesh).

Upping resistance might solve your burnt taste issue but its still a weaker vape.

All this coil talk is nice, as that's what I wanted to post anyway


Nothing wrong with my coil tonight, but I got vapemail and that was a good time to dump the cinammon from my tank.... went straight from pluid to cinammon with no issues, but I knew after that I'd have to clean, and might as well re-coil.


Used the allen key and my dremel to twist a few coils worth of 32g kanthal, attached the loose ends to the negative screw of course. Went with a 4/5 coil and ohm'd it out BEFORE "trimming" or "twisting off" the excess (never know if you need another wrap or not)... 1.6ohms, BINGO.... of course a dry burn and some poking to straighten everything out.... The twisted has gotten rid of what tiny bit of hot spotting I had at the top and bottom from the wick to the screws. Dry fired a relatively long fire to test the coil for durability (rather have it pop now than later) and to immediately pull battery and check for any temp differences in both the battery and the brass screws on top and bottom. Cool as a cucumber.

Time to fill with Ecto Plasma from juicy vapor... man this is a throw back! Reminds me a lot of (from what I remember at least) the Hi-C Ecto Cooler. Glad I gambled on 70ml, this stuff is pretty tasty, and I'm not normally a "fruity" vaper.

If it wasnt that analog craving i had that day doing all the Server updates in that Bldg who knows what might of happened. Ill never forget this day and im glad i got this 9/11 IhY Tribute Edition ..
