Sounds like a normal break-in now :) Glad you got it sorted out

Thanks!!!! :)

My fatty was a pain in the ..... Cant touch anything coil has to be 45 degrees blah blah. I sold it to save my sanity.

Yeah I'm starting to feel the same way. When I first got it I absolutely loved it, because when it is set up right it hits like a beast, and the flavor was unparalleled. Now? Well I'm ready to toss the damn thing. PITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I will say that having it be such a PITA has really helped my coil-building skills :)

ok, so I decided to try the twisted wire.
OMG....damn it why did I have to do that.
now everything else is inferior dammit.

So yeah now I am running 32 kanthal twisted 4/3 wrap ohm'ed out at 1.5 and made a new fatter 500 wick.

during this I decided it would be a good idea to throw my iHybrid on the ground with out the cap on to see what would happen and the tight draw screw bent all crooked.
Soooo. Now I am using the open draw screw and it seems about the same to me.
but the CLOUDS of vapor are much bigger and insane.
I am going to have to do a update on my blog about twisted wire.

I wasn't trying to bash your phone. The iPhone is one of the top 5 best phones. I was simply saying the Note 2 is the most powerful on the market right now. IMO, computing power is important. The two phones target different people and both have pros and cons.

It is about time we stop, though. LOL this could literally go on for weeks with out making any progress.

BTW, those trippy tips are awesome. I've been thinking about getting some but I haven't decided yet.

You know what? You are absolutely correct. This would go for months since we're not really trying to convince one another of anything, were both just supporting a product and that's exactly what other forums are for.

My first Trippy was on my Envy and I really liked it. They're hard to come by, but if you find one available and it matches your iHy, pick it up!!! I like mine a lot.

I've yet to try any twisted setups myself. Mainly because when I bought Kanthal I only got 30g... Just got some 28g and some more MNKE 18650's in the mail today. Should be fun! I think I will order some 32g though, twisted sounds great.

Found ya. =)

finally got my illuminati today... beautiful..

i built a coil and wick and popped in my kick with a button top 18500 battery and i'm having some issues

when fully tightened top and bottom.. the travel of the switch is maybe less than 1mm... and also when the switch is engaged i have to pull it back out to stop firing.. it will not pop out by it self

i tried loosing the top where the tank goes into the tube and it resolves this issue but it's too loose.. when everything is tightened it switch has no travel..

are there other adjustments i'm missing here? thanks and i really want to use it with a kick because i like regulated voltage..

Anyone have any advice for this other than sanding the kick or sending it back to face? Legitimate question got burred twice by chattering about phones.

My suggestion would be to take the phillips screw off the switch and make sure the two springs in it are seated correctly, someone else had a similar problem and that was it, one or both got knocked out of place during shipping. Since you have to pull it back out to stop the firing it sounds like the larger bottom spring that's having the issue.

$#%!#$%
when i get home i'll open up the switch and check.. weird thing is if i loosen the tank and give the switch more travel.. it does pop back out.. and with 18350 it pops out too since there's no travel issue..

only when kicked and with 1mm of travel to engage the switch gets stuck in fire mode.. i'll check when i get home..

anyone use 18500 flat top with kick? will that give it a bit of extra room in there?

Found ya. =)
