Just ordered some 325 to mess with. What made you decide on 325?

Standard received today! My first hybrid, made my first ghetto coil, twisted 4/5 wrap on 500 ss mesh. I had a hot spot but seemed to fix it quickly. This thing hits like a freight train! Took me about 5 min for setup, probably because of all the vids I've watched. I probably vape on this for awhile and then try and make a better coil. Not bad for first time though. Thames
Nks to everyone in this thread for your great tips and tricks!

Sadly, I was not one of the first 12. You can go back and read some of the posts from August, I think Faceless talked about the changes he made. I think Elfstone was one of the first 12, so was K-man. You here Elf, K-man?

Here now. Better late than never??? In my opinion, my 1st, the 1st, works as well as any other iHy I have had, and I've purchased eight of them. I've never had one issue with it.

Rumor has it....and I'm not big on rumors but this came from a guy that knows his stuff! Anyways, the word is that 500 costs 10 times as much as 400 and that most sites selling 500 for anywhere near the cost of 400, are actually selling 400 and calling it 500. It would be great if anyone with more knowledge or experience than me can shed some light on this for the rest of us.

and good morning all :) Still a ways back trying to catch up!

Well that's kind of... rude.

I prefer to save my quartz tanks for special occasions and typically run polycarbonate tanks. I have a Ss tank, but rather use the polycarbonate because its lighter and can still see the juice. If I didn't use something drop proof, I would break it in a day...

Where do you get the polycarb tubes?

Ok, update.. The mailman came back, he has a package from Texas for me after all. I have unwrapped it all and have to say, great packaging. I was really worried about damage in transit but the packaging is leaps above what I have seen from other goodies I have bought. I am not trying my hand at some wicks.

A couple of questions for the iHyPros out there:
1. What is a good resistance to aim for?
2. I am vaping Boba's Bounty pretty much exclusively and it is thick, any suggestions?

Now I just wait on my HR and I am set, oh yeah and learning how to use this thing as well!

I read a while back (I think it was EZKill who came up with the technique) that rolling a fat wick and then rolling a smaller to go inside that one is a killer set up with thick juices. I'm using a dripping RBA right now but when I get my iHy that's the first thing I'm gonna try, that and twisted 32g kanthal. I would personally shoot for 1.4-1.8 but I haven't even tried it (the iHy) so I'm not the best to answer that one.

so my iHy still does not appear to have been delivered / picked up (it sounds like my company may actually go pick it up from the post office), so I wanted to check in and see if anyone knows whether or not I could just head to the post office and attempt to pick it up myself? I'm thinking no, but wanted to see.

Interesting, I bought mine from OKC Vapes - Oklahoma's Premier Supplier of Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid, and Accessories! and there was a $5 difference. between the 500 and 400 I bought. Looking at the two sheets I can not see any difference but I cant see as good as I once could any way. Only thing to tell them apart is one has 500 and other has 400 marked on them. This was a recommended vendor on the Ihybrid work sheet.

Bought mine from the same place but don't have it yet. I was a bit surprised to hear that 500 actually costs ten times more. I just don't want to see a lot of people jumping all over 500 just cuz someone said it was great.....and then actually get 400. Personally, I think if it ain't broke, don't fix it. 400 has served me just fine but I too an guilty of ordering some 500 lol
