I like the "look" of the current switch. If at all the switch is to be changed I would prefer a non mechanical switch or have it in stainless steel and just up the quality.
And the Zombie attack, really..... I have seen more issues with mechanical switches then any electronic switch that is on the market today.
I really think that the way the iHy currently looks is unique. Leave it or go totally the other way: electronic switch, VW, the works, make a totally different unit and leave the iHy as it is, make LE's...that is what people like, the looks!

Have to agree with E. i like the current button too. Change the springs to magnets and it's just heaven. Been holding the ihy for 48hrs and counting. Other mods is being put aside. And vaping on some s&smods grumpy's hooch. OMNOMNOM.

And vapor production is massive.

I think it would be good to release one LE with the new switch - quite a few of these LEs will land with with Hybreeds that already have iHys with the current switch - I think only then will you get useful comparative feedback. If it does not work out, the current switch design may thread in? Just speculating there...

Do you think with years of use, all of us hybreeds will have carpal tunnel?

I don't think so, I think we will just have big pinky muscles!

The iHy IS made for nippled bats. It yours don't work, I suspect the are not the recommended bat. You should be using IMR bats. I have IMR flattops that are recommended for ePipeMods and they do work, but if you have one of the newer switches with the spring loaded delrin, it makes for the shortest throw ever!

Hmm. I was reading the reference links and it said on there "Use IMR AW batts with no nipple".. on line 113

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmYrSL_FJC4NdHZUb0xvVzRrNi1Qb2NCQ0dUUVdZUmc#gid=1

I do have aw imr, that's all I use.

Ok so reading Faceless' post, he says " If you only use AW brand with nipples you can file the nylon piece on the battery switch down and custom size it"

I plan on using a kick so I may have to do this, but don't want to mess anything up. I'm new to iHybrid by the way, just learning about it and the parts. Haven't even tried to put batteries in yet, again, don't want to mess anything up.

Fuuuuuuu all my batteries have nipples. Just realized the iHybrid is supposed to use no nipple batteries?

Anything I can do to make them work? This is like $150 worth of batteries

Hammer? Joke. I use nipples just a real short throw. But I recommend following mfg directions but u use nipples.
