So yeah, I think they are extremely durable but you can ask just about anyone who owns them :)

But no matter how the quality is, these tips are still made of glass so breakage is possible. I have a little girl who is about to turn 1 and walks, she really likes grabbing me and my wife's PV's... She has dropped, thrown, and knocked them over each week for months but hasn't broken one yet. (I should also note the Mrs only uses glass tips as well, though she has only 3 while I have a small collection)

OH! Almost forgot, if you want to try a glass tip out, without the risk of a 25 dollar investment, just get some Buddy Tips :) They are free and you can choose your length

Here ya go Trippy Tips at RTD Vapor

its a little down the page on the right #91 is what he was referring to :)

Alot of the tips on corevape are made by southern pen designs; they are tru stone tips but the only down fall is they have a brass core

Thanks to both of you! We'll see what I end up getting, going to look at some others too...so many good options now! Thanks for the vendor info!

My tank has not shipped either an I ordered the same day...while they are not the best I do continue to order from them for a lot of obvious reasons, customer service just happens to not be one of them lol

Yeah sadly I see this very scenario playing out in my future.

It depends on the tip and how it falls, but in the last year I have only broken 1 tip. I have however dropped my PV's directly on the tip at least 50 times much to my chagrin. Just this week I dropped my iHy :)shock:) and it fell directly on a 1" tall Pillar tip from the last official sale, RIGHT onto the bathroom floor while standing (I am 6' tall). It literally bounced back up a few inches with not even a hairline crack :nun:

Also if they break, just gather the pieces and send them in to TT and they will repair and mail it back free of charge. :)

That sounds pretty good. I'm just worried my three year old daughter would take them for herself, she loves pretty things. Found most of Mom's jewelry the other day in her Dora the explorer backpack.
Used to go to Bert's thread all the time, best eye candy on the ECF. Those guy's are super talented, and true artist's. I may have to p/u a couple and put them in a high place when not in use, thanks for the info.

Yea I saw that one too. Definately should be sitting on HR.

I coulda sworn I saw someone already ordered that one on this thread, so I think we may be seeing it soon enough!

Virginia is for vapers
Apparently brass can react with eliquids that are acidic. Not sure of the science behind that, but that is just what I have seen a few people post.

I think in the case of these tips, it is ok, as it is just a core encased with resin or Tru-stone. The brass is just a "skeleton" to form the material around, I believe. I could be wrong, but that's my interpretation of the info on his site.

That would make sense and make them safe :) Unless the core is bared on the inside then it still would apply. Guess the only way to find out is to ask

That sounds more likely, I would'nt think he would make a tip that nice that could,nt stand up to acidic juices. Heck half the juices out now have a slightly acidic property. I'm sure it is protected in some way, unless he wants to go strait out of biz.
