Ahh, Parvo. Well since there isn't much that can be done for it the best thing for the dog is to have hope, the pup needs to fight it off. Usual cases are 2 days for the worse of the battle, its a progressive thing and will hit a peak and then will either get better or not from there. My pup had parvo and there wasn't anything that could be done for her, she fought it off because of her will to live. All we could do is encourage eating/drinking and such, was a rather difficult time for everyone. It lasted about 2 weeks give or take until body functions were cleared up...
The vet should be a good place, hopefully there is that will to fight. The good news is I've never heard a case of a dog getting parvo twice in a row. Just tough it out and welcome back.

He wouldn't eat or drink at all, he just kept walking out to the field and laying down, I thought maybe he just got sick from it being so cold out, so I put him in my barn with a heat lamp, when I went to check on him the next day I saw he was pooping blood, so I took him to the vet right then. They actually called and said he wasnt making progress and would call me in the morning, they say its expensive because he is over 50lbs.

Mine had parvo...he was only 3 months old. He started improving after 3 days I believe. It could also have to do with how long he was symptomatic before he got to the vet.
Oh, and he turned 1 year old on Christmas day
