I am waiting for my first iHy. I could have gotten one earlier but really wanted the HR. It is on it's way and I don't care to wait. Patience is key for all good things in life. Face is doing more then his best to accommodate as many as possible. If you can't wait, move on!

I hope you get it soon.

Grab a synthesis too. I think even you will be pleased with the flavour :)

Thanks! Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic. It was kind of an impulse picture, lol. The black and gold would look pretty sweet, but I really like the SS mesh weave with the black tip. It really matches perfect IMO. I'm not worried about the brass myself, but who knows really.

Hey now!! Mine was with an iPhone too. How do you upload them bc mine was like double the size?(that's what sh.... Wait) I didn't think your picture was crappy.... The tip looks awesome on your spider, btw ;)

My picture wasn't GREAT, btw. Just a quick picture due to your inspiration to shoot.

Thank God for tablets. In the old days I would have exploded by now, but thanks to modern science I can F5 while I pee.
 Awesome. Love technology, how else could we watch our favorite shows on the couch, in the hallway, on the throne, without so much as pausing the video??

Actually, I was just going to ignore the... what was that word again? Actually, it's kind of sad. In the end, they are tubes for batteries, and, honestly, I would probably stay off the stinkies with ego batteries and carto tanks. I happen to have made a hobby of this endeavor, and I like to think I've made a friend of this mod maker, so I do get sensitive to criticisms of him. That said, some folks need to just chill.
Well said my man. I feel the same way and I knew I shouldn't have even responded, maybe I'm just protective lol.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Naval Brass was lead free...

depends on the manufacturing process and what is used to work it as it can absorb lead

Are switches going to be available today?

i think your just in time :D

I just had a bit of a bad experience with them over the Orions. Called numerous times with messages, emails, contact us option, facebook messages, and never got a response. I needed to change the shipping location as they had "guaranteed" that they would be shipped out the 18th or earlier when in actuality they shipped out after the first of the year. I will never use them again unless I have absolutely no choice.

yeah ive heard they were taking a while to ship the orions, do they even have a ecf thread for checking when stuff becomes available?

Lol lack of parts and accessories turn me off so I got a zap .That is like jumbo shrimp .

i dont want to get in on this fight but I will say that mike always has tanks, insulators, screws, o rings and springs up for his devices on several different vendors, that said most of that stuff fits iHys so its a win/win :D plus its good for someone like me who breaks more tanks than I can remember and needs a reliable way to replace them (actually i just ordered an SS standard and mini tank today "just incase" )

Face restocks at frickin' breakneck speeds compared to most mod makers. Keep in mind he makes most of the parts by hand and takes extra steps for aesthetics and functionality that no other mod maker would even dream of doing. Most mod makers work like this: get on some list on some obscure forum, pay them hundreds of dollars upfront for a completely unproven device, maybe you'll see it in a year (if they feel like it), then fat chance ever getting replacement parts or service after that. Face sets deadlines and generally sticks to them like nobody else does. He also guarantees his devices for life (assuming you didn't do something stupid like stack batteries or drop the thing off a bridge). Face is all good in my book (although i wouldn't complain about the occasional last-minute-super-secret-forum-stalker-sale, haha). I know I've said all this before, so rant over, bring on the iHy's!

+1, aggreed, 'n all that, face does an awesome job of putting stuff out there especially compared to some modders I will not mention:)

New List! (yesterdays went so well I might as well start another. I wanted to give out a prize but I don't think I have anything to spare that anybody wants )

You Know You're Still A Little Bit N00b When...

1. You have a charged 18350 w/o a case in the same pocket as your change... which proceeds to burn your leg as you change your 1yr old's crappy diaper at breakneck speed.

2. When you still have blue foam and tea bags in your vape box for your next mod project lol
3. you tell your gf to hand you the device, she refuses and gets out of the car holding her pv, keys, purse, cell phone and coffee, and you watch the top cap fly off and bounce across the asphalt, scraping up and gougeing the top cap and breaking a $50 drip tip. thank god for fine grit sandpaper :(

so, my iHy was tasting a little funny today, checked the coil, no hotspots, pretty clean, nudged it around and dry burned it anyway just for the hell of it, glowing all nice and even, totally out of ideas. figured it was time to clean the switch anyway so i'd do that before i built a new wick/coil. put the freshly cleaned switch back on, and like magic the flavor was perfect again! what?!?! makes no sense at all to me, but i'm not gonna complain.

im not completely familiar w/ the ihy switch, the only one that I have taken apart was from an older iHy but in most switches the most important part is the spring and the areas where that spring makes contact, make sure theyre shiny like this...

switchparts_zps8ef6a6b4.jpg

and on anodised mods where the switch threads are anodised just make sure the switch is screwed in all the way so that little un-anodised ring around the edge of the tube is making contact. I also like to sand the ends of the spring, and sand the screw head flat, round screw head/flat battery neg side = not the best connection, imho.

Wow....kind of odd in here today.

In July I ordered and paid for some parts from a greek guy and in early December I received those parts. They were not a new design, just some standard parts for products that have been produced for 2-3 years.

Since July Faceless has decided to start a business, setup a shop, bought a bunch of machines. Designed a PV, tested a PV...then designed a second one due to customer demand(It's ready to go and waiting for a special screw he had to custom order). On top of that he's designed and tested an atomizer and released 6(?) LE's, again due to customer demand. Various improvements, design tweaks and new materials have also happend in that time frame.

Standards are usually stocked once a week and relatively easy to get. Yea, sure, they still sell out but in comparison to having stock every 6-8 months, meh.

The guy moves fast and he's constantly improving his product. He's been doing this such a relatively short time and it's very impressive what he's accomplished in that time frame. Much better situation here then sitting on a list for 8 months with your money in someone else's pocket.

Bit of an odd culture being created in this thread. People get upset when due to some odd circumstance he ships 2-3 days late...but some of the same people completely understand 6 month delays for other products.

I could never understand this, people let other modders mess them around for months, but if mike or face is late by a day they go ballistic. even when the reason for the delay is to make sure the final product is perfect

Good morning everyone. What am I doing up so early??? Nap time!!

jc. If you going to use cartos. I suggest getting a carto punch and getting a Elegance tank. It wont be the best looking on the twist battery but you can lay it down and it wont leak. They hold about 3ml and the caps are easy on and easy off. I think they are the easiest tank to use. I have 4 of them. This is a SS Tank on my Gus so you can see what it looks like. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

Thanks! I wasn't sure which model I would try for them. I have only used one before and I don't remember the name of it. It was a big name back when tanks were new, lol. Anyway sorry for the late reply and help hybreeds!

Someone on the ihybrid Facebook site just said that they are still putting items up tonight:)

Ya. I find it weird that when you read the whole thread Face kept saying it would be tonight. Then the site out of no where says the 18th for manufacturer delivery? Something fishy going on over in Cali. You know Face wouldn't string people along like that. He even went as far as to say the synthesis would be up next week.
