I've never used the tight draw screws.. and I finally got the Illuminati running. I tried a couple more times and failed, gave up and wrapped a pre oxidized zen wick around it like a burrito and now it's working fine. Definitely need to get a torch. I don't have a gas stove.. crappy electric in an apartment that I detest with all of my being.
I am picking one up tomorrow so I can get the Hell Raiser up and running. I wish you could buy pre-made ones. Night all!

you're raping your coils? well there's your problem right there, coils don't like getting raped. if you sweet talk 'em and nudge 'em around just right they'll get hot in all the right places!
Maybe this is my issue, I man handle my coils too much..any sugguestions on how one sweet talks their coils. Do you think maybe some Lionel Richie, Marvin Gaye or Neil Diamond playing might help get those coils hot in all the right places?

Oh, and hey, I don't know who came up with the idea of offset coils, but THANK YOU. 500 mesh 28g, 4/3 wrap, metering at 1ohm. I'm taking huge chain rips of Boba's with nary a dry hit... Sure I gotta hold it horizontal, but hey, it'sBoba's, the molasses of eliquids.

Actually, I've found that burrito-ing 2 of the Good Prophets pre-oxidized wicks fits the iHy perfectly, and wicks quite well for me.
