Not this time. With my grandparents at their little vacation condo here for a week. I guess just taking a week, enjoying the wonderful weather with my girlfriend and them. Problem is, they can't stand smokers so I'm a closeted vaper for a week :/ they wouldn't understand so I don't even go there with them. Lets just say, my girlfriend and I like our alone time in the bedroom, for more reasons than one! ;) more like Pluid time! Watched Looper last night- pretty good movie.

I brought my BD tubes and 3 iHy attys full. Put some electrical tape on the holes, which was perfect. My syringe broke as soon as I filled my first tank, so I'm glad I did that. Didn't want to mess with coils and mesh if something happened, so I'm going to try dripping through the wicks(I make mine with a hole that I put a smaller wick inside, easily removable)

That sounds like a cool, relaxing vacation! I need some of that about now.

Yes, I guess.

Looks like not a lot is happening on the iHy front, eh?

Anyway, I booked my room for the VapeBash. I can't wait. I'm pretty sure I'm going to drive, I miss long drives.

A bit late on the bandwagon, but I wanted to give shoutout to EZKill: MNKE batteries (18650) rock and so does the Nitecore charger...

I don't have tools to run a real discharge curve, but running them head to head on similar setups (I've been looking silly carrying with two iHys around these days) I think MNKEs spend a lot more mAhs above 3.8V than AWs. I really don't go below 1.1 Ohm on my coils so I don't care about their higher max discharge / power output but it is said they are superior in that department as well. I am overall pleased.

The Nitecore charger is leaps and bounds in terms of build quality above the stupid Xtar. The sliders are a bit too stiff, but that in turn means very solid grip on short batteries and I'd rather have that than loose contact or 'jumping' batteries. No idiotic spacers to mess around with. It doesn't overcharge. There is no noise and it doesn't heat up at all. On paper, the specs are better - with the supposed independently controlled channels and intelligent mode switching (and cell type detection, which I don't care about, but if you do have other rechargeable batts it's a neat feature).

See y'all later.

I just received the nitecore charger that I ordered based on recommendations here. It really is an excellent charger. It just blows away the crappy trustfires I was using before.

Well no AO again today, but my spare tanks already got here from the Steam Train. Cheaped out and went with first class shipping and they went from Cali to VA in 2 days. USPS can pull some amazing things every once in a while.

They sure can. On the week after Christmas, I sent my tubes to Cyclin on the 26th, and he had them by the 28th. I live in Texas, and he lives in California. I was floored that they got there that fast.

So I was in the shower and thinking.

I know a bunch of us our into our cars and bikes, what do you all think about a Race Day/Speed Demon iHy? I think it would be pretty cool. Talked with Faceless about it last month I think.

What I came up with in the shower was a cool wheel on the button, a hot chick with checkered flags on the tube, maybe some rubber marks(sounds dirty in this sentence). 5 circles cut out from the tank protector as a light tree? Idk about that part as much, but I think it would be a cool PV, especially to take to the track!

I'm not sure what color, but I think a polished one would be cool for an LE, since it hasn't been done? And we could detail it on game day :) Wouldn't hit the entire audience, but I'm sure a lot would like it? Opinions? Better/more creative thoughts?

I have to tell you, Gresh, that avi is downright distracting. :toast:

hmm me likey.. except the tank protector.. how about if they left the usuall i and just engraved checkered flags instead? or it would be a lot of work but instead of the i just cut out small pieces of the white part of the checkered flag after engraving it. For some reason lately I've been thinking about using engraving on the tank protectors. Using engraving and cutting out parts to match the engraving would look really sick.

I've thought/mentioned the engraved/cut tank protectors too. I thought the designs could become REALLY cool, but I wonder what work it would take and if its possible. I like your idea with the i and engraved flags. There's gotta be something bad ... car related that we can cut out that I'm not thinking of right now. That's why this thread is awesome!

Haha, tell me about it. I gawk at my avatar everytime I make a post. Don't worry, I am not going to be able to keep it up for too long, because she does sometimes get on the forum, and when she sees that, it is gone, and I a may be dead:evil:
