My 28 kanthal still didn't come in today, but I twisted the hell out of some 32 with a dremel. I don't think I was twisting tight enough before which was causing too much gunk between the wires. This should work good. 4/3 wrap blowing clouds! Also, I tried my first IPA a minute ago. I imagine piss would taste better. It was bad!

LOL! IPA's are definitely an acquired taste. A good starting point IMO is a brew called Chain Breaker White IPA. It's not nearly as in your face on the hop taste as most. But I do love me an IPA.

What's your resistance on a 4/3 twisted 32awg?

I have three micro breweries within walking distance of me and I have tried for years to acquire the taste for IPA's. just can't do it myself

I'll try that one next. The one I tried was green label imperial. Very, very hoppy IMO.

I didn't check it tonight, but I think the last one I checked was 1.1-1.2.

Ya the one I tried was nasty!

Question for anyone--although I love the new switch on my HR, the "button" is recessed further than I like, is there a spacer that can be used to get the button further toward the end so it wont be so hard to press for these 64 year old fingers? I use AW imr 18650's. Thanks.

shorten your 18650 tube.... or shim your bat with a brass washer, but the washer has to be bigger than the delrin insert but still make contact with brass screw when actuated.

Oh... I usually just ask for the 'hop priest' IPA :). A micro brew here has one of my favorites - Cluster Fuggle.

Damn you autocorrect - hop priest meant 'hoppiest'....

USPS at its finest my standard was coming from two hours away and 3 days later still not hear(was supposed to be hear the 11th) its lost in Del somewhere .Keegan you don't know anything about this do ya huh ,huh.

me I can't believe it's not there yet. That's crazy. If you have any issues let me know. The area in DE I live in is often referred to as slower lower Delaware, but that's just taking it WAY to literally. Sorry man. Not trying to jinx anything but it would be crazy if my Poldiac made it here from Greece faster than the iHy made it to you. Mine is due here on Tue.

Good morning everyone.

Tell me, how does a German immigrant brewer end up with a Chinese surname? Never heard of Yuengling Beer. Just read a bit about it. Quite a history behind the oldest brewer in America.

You have to try it K-man! :) Their lager is my everyday brew, the black and tan is really good, and they come out with a couple of seasonal ones too IIRC. You can get them now pretty much anywhere on the east coast, surprised me when I found them available in FL! The original brewery isn't far from where I live.
