You're gonna love it! I sure do love mine. I picked up the SS mesh with black tip. The brass seems to be doing just fine with my DIY Cinnamon Red Hots juice, so I don't think I need to worry about the brass center to these drip tips. I rinsed it off from some overspray the other day and it isn't even tarnished yet, lol. I've been using it since Christmas Day! It looks amazing on my Spider!
Ive been using mine with pluid for almost two weeks no effect to tip.

OH
My friends and brothers, I need a little help. I took apart this filthy Paps' switch and sure enough that C-brace or however the retaining thing is called flew across the room into nothingness... Anyone knows how to replace that? And in the same place - the brass(?) of the switch has what is most likely oxidation on it. What is the best way to clean / polish the brass parts?

Thanks....

Oh those c-clips. They are hard to find, I actually went looking for a replacement one a while ago of that size and could not find one. I'm no help here as I could not locate a spare.

The brass or metal is best sanded lightly and then cleaned with ISO. These are contacts so just 99% won't get them all the way clean. Might as well do a little light sanding since you are already in the switch. It's not strictly necessary but it will clean better then just alcohol.

Sorry Elfstone, nothing worse than a dirty pv IMHO - I've gotten some winners in transactions through the last year or so. Was this yours or did you acquire it 2nd hand?
