yeah i knew i was forgetting something about it now i remember

i dont think it really matters as far as the versions of the switches, IMO from what ive seen the only ones w/ any real change in performace was when face went from the original to the adjustable delrin peice, and afaik he's still using that design w/ the new switch so as long as you have one of those it shouldnt matter, the old switches should work just as well as the new ones as long as they are that type.

could be wrong though and in fact i usually am

I don't have that problem with 500ss. I oxidized it once, dropped in and it flows like a raging river. I also rinse it off with water when I change juices and blowtorch it, and reuse. Never, ever have had a clog.

wheer are you getting yours? i got some from a US vendor and compared it to my mesh company 500 and it was obvious they sold me 400 instead

Honestly I don't know. I think I ordered it off ebay this past summer. I got a 8x6 sheet, and I have only rolled 3 wicks from it. All wicks still in the rotation and working great.

Some friendly advise concerning mesh:

Boil it for 10 minutes, then use detergent for washing dishes and rub it good. Flush with hot water or boil it again. there is machining oil that does not go away when torching it. It will impede the wicking if you don't clean it good and it is not healthy.

ASH was after the member ASH. Where's he been lately anyway?

He tried to get a Zen forever, missed them in the midnight madness sale yet again, and mike was kid enough to open a list of 25 to similar members who were in the thread for a long time but never got one. It was dubbed the ASH and mechanically opposite of the AYS. AYS 18350 with standard tank, ASH 18650 with mini tank.

No, ASH isn't a jackass like that guy was.. we don't know who it was but he was being an utter jerk to Zen~ on the phone about not being willing to sell him a PV outside of the lists. He said you have the PVs and I have money to give you right now, are you stupid? Zen said "apparently, yes." and the AYS was born. I have one of them, it's a nice little PV though the switch drives me to distraction.
