Just thought I'd stop by and say hello.

For all those that have sent me PM's, emails, txts, etc asking about me, I really appreciate it. It means a lot that I have friends here that check up on me, seriously it does.

That being said, I'm good, really good in fact. I've just been slammed on all fronts since before the holidays. Getting ready for another tax season (I work for a small tax software company), 5 Christmas get togethers, seeing a new girl, and just started my last semester of school for my degree. In addition to all that, I just finished putting together another gun I picked up before Christmas (got the last of what I needed as gifts over the holidays).

I am still vaping, almost 5 months smoke free now. I'm way behind on the thread, but it's good to be back. Hope all of you are doing well.

I think the reason EZ said aw or mnke is they have a bit more protection ie less likely to turn your pv into a pipe bomb, i doubt it has anything to do w/ discharge rates

I really am struggling. I guess I'll have to wait until I have it to see which I prefer. The Synth is brass; the GGTS is brass. I love the idea of the Synth on the GUS Tele. I'd like to put it oon the Chi_You, but I fear it is easier to get another atty for the Chi, than the adapter necessary to make the Synth work on it.

No I was wondering since he said only 18650's. I unfortunately don't own any of these and I've been using this method with 18350's. I'm glad I didnt cause any bad event.

While I can not say one way or another on why Ez said what he did, I know when talking about batteries Ez *ALWAYS* takes discharge rates into account

Higher amp draw on 18650's. 20AMPS versus 6 on 350's.

Shorts can draw a lot of amps. If you ever ohm a shorted coil it can read something like .4 ohms....lower the ohm the more amp draw on the battery. I prefer to play it safe. Yes it can also read like 10ohm, really depends on the short.

.4ohm shorted coil can ask for over 10 amps from the battery for instance. That's over the max amp draw of a 350.
