You're right we don't know, but lead is one of those things that builds up in your body and slowly poisons. Lead interferes with a variety of body processes and is toxic to many organs and tissues including the heart, bones, intestines, kidneys, and reproductive and nervous systems. It will not affect how the tip looks or how it functions. Also the lead in other things as you pointed out, but you are not inhaling those items, all the vapor you inhale from your mod tho does go through the drip tip.

But is a $30 drip tip worth the added risk?

We are nic junkies and we worry about micro amounts of substances???

Do you know what is in the air, in our food?????

Stress is a big killer, chill and Vape proud!!!!!!!!

A lot of us got away from cigs to get away from added chemicals, with that line of thinking we might as well still be smoking.

Information is the key here....

There are many types of Brass, some which contain lead and "could" be argued as being harmful, and some that don't contain any lead whatsoever.

I've used a brass drip tip made of C464 brass, its makeup is 60% copper, 25% zinc, 10% iron, 1% tin.

Even if there was trace lead, the gassing temps are important to understand as well as leaching properties.

Our coils don't come anywhere near the temps needed for brass to gas out.

I do agree that information is important though. And having trust in the maker, like I said above, I know exactly the composite of that brass trip tip I've been using..

no I don't, I don't own or wear any makeup. Even when I worked in an office and had to dress professionally my rule of thumb was when they tell the men they have to use makeup then I will put that gunk on my skin.

Personally I didn't quit the stinkies to avoid all the bad chemicals, I quit them out of lazyness mostly and because I found a good juice I liked and couldnt stand the flavor or stench of analogs after finding said juice.

That being said, I truly believe this is healthier, my ability to breath today proves this to me. As long as I'm on a healthier alternative I might as well make an attempt to keep it as healthy as I can without making life difficult in the process.

I also know that I love vaping, a lot, and that there are people out there looking for anything they can use to make my super fun, very expensive hobby illegal. Any company that takes even a small risk of providing them with anything they can use to further this cause (like lead content) will get none of my money.

Now I'm old and need a passenger seat, so I still ride a Victory but its a Jetson (Vision). No pics as its basically stock but comfortable as h3ll and actually darn good in the twisties, which is where I prefer to ride when solo.

Beautiful device....

Actually question for you since you have one...

This isn't clear from his site. He's got a price of 160 Euro and says it comes with all three battery tubes. I assume that it has to come with all three pants as well?

You can buy some of that stuff extra, and you don't strictly need to use the pants part so I'm wondering if it all comes in the kit.

It comes with the 18650 tube and pants, 18500 tube and pants, and 18350 tube and pants. You can purchase different finishes and metals for pants and skirts but you don't get sets when purchased separately. I believe the full kit is a limited time and eventually you will choose one and only get one batt tube and pants.
