With the add ons and change over's?
Only treason i ask is i hate having bags of extra parts just lying around.
if you really love America your gonna have to love moonshine.
Phil Robertson for President.

Actuall what he is doing is coming out with a kit to allow his past customers not to left having to purchase a whole new atty just to fit his new device.....those that are .... (like me) and would prefer looks as well as function (not a fan of knurling of any kind) can purchase a whole new atty. So basically Jim is giving people options to spend less and still make a device they own work with the Poldiac and he is doing that first.....not last.

The machinist needs to be paid a visit. You don't take the cash and then hide.

Golf anyone?
Some smoke and mirrors going on there, im sure.
The total amount lost will be staggering.
IMO if it goes down someone's ECF user name should also.
I've seen the talks of us buying him a machine, i don't think so.
I'm starting to get .......

I just screwed up, no pun intended. I screwed the tank cover on a bit too tight, and I am having no luck getting it off. Every time I try to unscrew it, the bottom tube is unscrewing. If I take the bottom tube off, I cant get a grip in order to unscrew the cover. Any suggestions?

Sorry man. It's toast. Just send it to me and I'll throw it out for you :D

Rubber dishwashing glove, or the bottom of a mouse pad. Worked wonders for me when I had an odysseus

Use a large rubber band (one of the wide ones) for a finish protector and a pair of channel locks to grip the bottom tube?

I think with as tight as I have torqued it, the large rubber band might be the best idea. I'll just have to wait until I get home. The problem with just trying to unscrew it gently is that the bottom tube will come off when I loosen. Then I have nowhere to grab on to. UGh.

when I do that I just take the tube off, grab a cloth of some sort and wrap it around the threads on the bottom and hold on to that, never had one not come off doing that.

actually this might work. The diswashing gloves might allow me to grip the threads. I don't want to put channel locks on the threads, because I am sure that even with some type of protector, they will be toast.

So I got this new switch in today, after having not been able to use my iHy since Jan 2nd. Screwed it into the 18650 tube, all good. Tried screwing it into the 18350 tube, doesn't work. Only screws on a little bit and it almost got stuck when trying to take it back off.

This is as far as it will screw on:

Any ideas?

You are screwing the switch into the correct end of the tube right?
