Concussions, horrible, just like spinal injuries. At least with a broken bone 6-7 weeks and you're pretty much good as new. Concussions and back injuries can just drag on and on.

No headaches, but my shoulder and neck hurt, I think its stress lol. I get pretty down on this day. I joined the military the following week after 9/11. I got out in 2006 after realizing the war wasn't about freedom or safety and I'll leave it at that

Same raw materials used. From a business perspective it just makes sense to do this.
The neck and shoulder pain are not that uncommon after being concussed. I was a semi professional rugby player back in University. It's a heavy concussion sport. I was pretty lucky to have never actually been concussed but watched many team mates go through recovery over the years.
I understand about the military, and I'll also leave it at that.

Ugh, I try to forget 9/11. Luckily I didn't lose anybody but it was a few days of terror. Had tons of family near the World Trade Tower and we weren't able to account for everybody for 2 days.
Makes me regret never actually going to the top of the World Trade Towers. I used to pass by it everyday in HS but never took a chance to go up and just look around.
And your comment about the military makes me know I'm in good company.
ok, tell me your stories on what you were doing on 9/11. I was at the car dealership about to pick up my new ride and everyone was in the break room watching the TV, I had no clue what was going on, so I asked. A guy told me a plane hit the WTC, I was wondering why everyone was in there if it was just a plane wreck, and then he told me another one hit the other tower 45 minutes later. I was thinking, man, some Air traffic controller is getting fired, I couldn't even process it was an attack, I never thought that could have happened with our air defense. Got me pretty down, I left and didnt pick up my new car. I went home called my family in NY and made sure everyone was ok. Not to good of news, so I really hate this day and any coward who takes the lives of women and children. I know its probably harsh to not say men, but I would take the place of any woman or child as I do not fear death, I test its limits everyday, thats how I live, for the moment. Thats why I frown when people argue over petty stuff and cause drama, life is too short for drama and we should all be united, not as americans but as a planet! God Speed!

It just happend while I was at the office. Someone started talking about it and I couldn't believe they were serious.
Went to the board room and started flipping through channels and realized it was happening right now and it was true. Figured it wasn't an accident after the second plane.
Just watched in stun silence with everyone else. Tried to get a hold of a few close friends in NYC.

I was at work. I had just launched an employee survey for a national bank and I started getting calls from employees in New Jersey saying they could not access it (all comunitions were clogged). I called my client, who worked from home, and when she answered she was crying and told me what happend. After I hung up we found a TV and started watching. After watching for a while we all went home to be with our families.
My husband and I were on our way to pick up feed for his beef cows. The owner of the feed store had a small TV, and we watched some of the news coverage in disbelief..
I worked for a major corporate retailer heading up store ops in the home office. After checking on family, I remember many phone call attempts trying to get a hold of our friends / coworkers in the NYC stores.
One of our field managers in particular was stuck on the GW and I could hear the fighter jets flying over through the phone while he tried to keep it together and let me know that everyone he managed to get a hold of was safe..
Talking to some of the people in the city at the time just after everything occurred was completely surreal... Not sure how else to put it.

Called home, got my grandma and was told she couldn't contact anybody. Checked the TV and started trying to get a flight back to NYC. Couldn't so ended up driving from Rochester to NYC that day.
Ended up spending most of the time waiting at the Queens-boro bridge since the city was cordoned off. Most of my family ended up walking home.
Luckily my family all got home safe. Was really worried about my aunt and mom. My aunt used to work at the WTC and my mom was visiting her that day.
Did take a semester off college just to be with family. Made me realize anybody can pass at any time.
Edit: This makes me wonder if I would have still been anti-war if I lost anybody that day. Who knows and I count my blessings.

I was at home on my day off from work on 9/11. I was just sitting at my desk on my computer playing a game. My sister called me and told me to turn on the TV a plane had crashed into a building in NY. I turned it on right as the second plane hit. I was in shock and didn’t know how to react. As the day went on the feeling of dread just got bigger and is something that I never want to feel again.
