Try business card size maybe a little wider

..........:)..........

That would make one very very thick wick, I haven't cut any yet, but had some pre cut mesh from someone else they are about 3/4" wide and not quite 1 1/2" long, and they seem to work really well for a standard wick.

We need more Cottage Industry type mod makers like iHybrid.

I have a good friend who is an expert wood worker, has literally the whole nine when it comes to machinery and tools, lathes and about to buy a CNC Mill machine. We're going to go over making a few Box Mods and maybe a wooden tube here or there. Can't wait really because my friend, this is her husband and the man is pretty damn good. He wants to do some ultra high-end work, kind of like those super expensive tobacco Pipes.

I do agree that iHybrid should make multiple Lots of these mods. Otherwise move onto something else and in 20 years these mods will be collectable!

Love this mod it sure is .....en.

20 years? Limited run editions are highly collectable as soon as they are not being made anymore!

You're guys are getting weak! I only had 160 posts to catch up on :)

I need help with something. Below is the multimeter I have. I'm hoping one of you could tell me where to set the dial to measure the ohms for my wick, and how the heck to do it. I've tried a couple of different things and it comes up -1, so obviously I'm screwing something up. Imgur wouldn't rorate it but here ya go

If anyone that was looking to get the 9/11 edition iHy from Faceless that didn’t for whatever reason. You can still get something that resembles a piece of it. Sagewood has some of the red/white/blue glass tips for sale that look like the ones on the 9/11 iHy. So for a fraction of the price you can still be patriotic. They are on page 3. Link

Thanks so much for pointing that out, DukeBlue! Here are pics of the 5 red, white and blue tips we still have available.

Just drop us a line at sagewoodglass@gmail.com if you are interested! Thanks again! Special thanks to Faceless for this awesome collaboration opportunity, and also to all of you iHyHeads for the warm welcome!

EDIT: dt1309 is sold.

Thanks Nancy.....I just need to know what size to cut the mesh to get me going.....I've had experience with cutting them for the Line atty but that's it as far as my Genesis experience goes.....:) Maybe I should just wait until it arrives then make them......

I cut mine at two inches by one and one sixteenth or one eighth. Then I just trim to where I need it after the coil is wrapped and firing properly.

Yep the whole bottom with the ohm(horseshoe) symbol is for measuring ohms in different ranges. You want the first dial in white as that will measure up to 200 ohms.

If you're getting some weird readings from +/- screws it could be due to shorts. Good way to see if you are getting a good reading is taking an inch of 32 and seeing if it measures out to just over an ohm. Stretch it out on the counter and put the probes on it with a steady hand. 32 Kanthal is about 14 ohms per foot.
